to be frankly from my experience on sony hu, ya, it's good at the beginning....but after sometime, the lens inside will become sensitive to lousier media....like cdr, mp3 or pasar malam....it's common in sony...no doubt about tat...

another fact is, sony fm reiver part will easily rust inside...had many ppl ask me how come the hu fm not clear anymore after soemtime..usually >1 year....once i open and see, mostly the reason is the fm receriving part rusted....so i will only say good luck to u...

RM6xx stuff.... i dun expect much, while im waiting for better panasonic HU out.

My SONY HU have been using for 2 years still can read pasar malam cd, self burn mp3 cdr(mostly my cd la) nicely...!
So is tat something wrong?

i would say buying sony stuff is like buying proton
some remain functioning after sometimes, some got whole lotsa problem eventhough it's almost brand new

I just like 9855 only.. The new Alpine not my cup of tea...new one lack a lot of good function loh..
