i think your X1900 card might gave u the problem. try updating its driver or lowering the resolution and oth setting ....

I had the same problem with my X1600 pro but with some tweaking in the catalyst
control center I managed to make it work.

If your using CRT, try to change you refresh rate in the CCC Display Manager and the 3D Refresh Rate Override. Try to play around with the settings and see, it might work. Also, download the latest Cat drivers 7.3.

Ok this my settings in Cat. 1024x768@75Hz in Display Manager and Same as Desktop for the Refresh Rate Overide in the Desktop Options. Nxskynet, see if this works for you also.

Ok,first i dont install MS Dual core patch...

I cant change the refresh rate at CAT..it keeps at 60Hz...Bit i change the 3d refresh rate overide to 75Hz...

And i play COH...it manage to the load map,,,and suddenly i click Press any ker button....the it crash....ive try this twice...soooo,whats now???

are u using motherboard build-in (AC97/Azalia) sound card??

So you are using flat panel thats why it set as 60hz, so don't change 3d refresh rate overide to 75hz, it should be "Same as Desktop" option, it is in the pull down menu just scroll up it its just below the Disable.

Nothing in the readme states any problems with Azalia.

i'm also using DQ6 but that give no problem to me (nvr update BIOS too)......
hmmm .... i might advice u to try to swap graphic card with ur Nvidia friend ... to give it a try .... u have any??

i dont use ATI, just Nvidia .....

what that forum meant is latest driver might not always works, u need sometimes rollback to the prev drivers, just download version 6.11 or 6.6 and install it ..... just for experiment.

other than that, i'm out of idea ....
