Planning to upgrade my U2412M to a 27" and so decided to call up Dell.

Whoah! Only RM100 differences between the U2715H and U2713H? And the U2713H comes with Premier color instead, this was about RM2.7k before this? I kinda like the design of the newer U2715H but the U2713H Premier Color is good for me as I do photo editing.

Dell mentioned if purchase with MasterCard and over RM3000, have additional 5%! Butt was itchy decided to ask for the U3014 --> RM4109. Oh great...

That is right PremierColor hehehe... Well I really liked the design of U2715H but the U2713H should serve me better giving the RM100 differences in price. Monitor expected to deliver by 16/3... can't wait!

Most likely not, but well... the differences is RM100 I would go for PremierColor unless the U2715H is about 1.6~1.7k then I would be considering!

Just received my U2713H! Awesome so far, no regrets hehehe! Now... time to upgrade my little computer table before I can put both of them side by side... btw, anyone using a 27" paired with another 24" in vertical mode? Can share some pics?

No la... using back my old U2412M in vertical mode, but my table now too small hehe. Waiting to grab a new 180cm table from IKEA first.

My U2412M which was bought around August 2011 stopped getting signal via DVI. It was working earlier about 5:45PM before I went out, then I shut down computer and came back around 7PM but there are no signal as if no cable was connected. I then tried another DVI which was connection to my main monitor U2713H and it didn't work. I swapped the DVI port on my computer too but still no signal.

I then tried the alternative VGA port and it worked instead!

Is it possible to repair just the DVI port? Well, this was bought in 2011 and it is out of warranty now.

Just bought my Acer XB271HU at RM3199 with the headset free gift (surprisingly this shop still selling with the old price vs. the usual now I see is RM3699).

Okay here is the problem, I am changing from a Dell U2713H to Acer XB271HU, the base is taking WAAAAAAYYYYY lot more space. I'm using a very narrow table (~40cm only and I think the base took up about ~30cm already).

My only choice now is to do wall mount, this monitor supports VESA 100 but it is sort of "embedded" inside the holes. Most wall mount which I want supports up to 200mm... which means the mount won't "sit" inside right? Any recommendations? Or any owners can share what sort of wall mount they using which would fit a vesa 100 properly.

Yeah, I ordered the S105 from him already. Pricing is quite steep compared to those china made around but those china made plate so huge can't fit into the monitor .

Using IKEA table.. only 40cm width plus have drawer so I can't clamp it on. Feels so weird using this monitor cause it is like right in front of my face ._. Need to turn my head so much to see the entire screen.

Using my Dell U2713H as secondary monitor in vertical mode, but it is so far from my PC that my 2m HDMI cable is so tight. So now am looking for a longer display port cable say 2.5m or 3m. Any recommendation? What should I look for? It is a 1440p 60hz 10-bit panel... was searching lazada and saw this Ugreen DP102 3m, sounds good?

I have two monitors, Acer XB271HU and Dell U2713H. I noticed my Dell if I turn it off, windows detects it as disconnected while my XB271HU if I turn it off, it won't be detected as disconnected. Wonder what is the differences here? Both are connected using different display port.

I tried switching the main display but same results. Not that it is an issue just want to know the reson, since I'm using the U2713H as secondary monitor and thus when I turn it off, it disable the extend function.

I'm using GTX1060... just find it weird that turning off the U2713H would disable (like removing USB sound will appear) it while turning off the XB271HU does not.

Was on U2713H 1440p 60 Hz... thought the same until I bought the XB271HU 1440p 144 Hz G Sync monitor, damn different when playing Overwatch! Even 144 Hz with and without G Sync makes a diff

This is freaking true... before I tried 144 Hz and G Sync... I was like nah, no big deal... once I got it... oh shit.

Same dilemma back then, I was using Dell U2713H 10 bit display monitor then when want to go to 144 Hz monitor damn hesitant with the TN panels, ended up with the XB271HU which is IPS but is only sRGB instead of Adobe RGB like the U2713H...

But you better go try first la, once you go IPS, going back to TN isn't easy.
