QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Jul 8 2014, 05:03 PM) Is the panel and all those external looks the same when you pick it up? If it's yes then probably they change the whole board (chipset and stuff) so probably took from other same size monitor and just plug it in, calibrate bit then send back to you. If the screen display does not annoy you in anyway, such as color, screen details, uniformity, etc then just accept as it is, otherwise you can head back and try your best to suggest otherwise, you have your right on that particular model, and they should provide you with the exact model unless the model is already discontinue and they have no way to find the parts any more. yup exactly the same screen display so far is okay, no problem at all and thanks for your explanation

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Aug 31 2023, 08:40 PM) A lot of people recommended IPS screen and not VA Panel, which i can understand but I am perplexed when I looked into Samsung 4k monitor including their new Smart Monitor, M7 and M8, all are VA panels and not IPS. Does VA Panel in this newer samsung monitor really still bad? And does 4k HDR for OTT contents, meaning i can stream netflix in 4k? And also i am looking at 28" UHD Monitor - R55, not sure this is a 4K monitor or not, since i dun see the 4k word in Samsung website https://www.samsung.com/my/monitors/high-re...lu28r550uqexxs/UHD = 4k Resolution = 3840x2160 So yes it is 4k resolution monitor
