The Asus uses the same panel as the AOC too, with the only difference being the Asus has overclocked the panel to 165Hz rather than 144Hz icon_idea.gif

No if you want HDR (due to edge-lit backlighting rather than FALD), and the lack of sRGB emulation mode is pretty unacceptable for a monitor of such caliber IMHO icon_idea.gif

I'm still waiting for a decent VA monitor to come out, and it seems like there's not much high end VA options out there sweat.gif

SAMSUNG G7 32 " is good ?

Yes, but the problem is the firmware is quite unstable, and the panel seems to suffer from flickering? sweat.gif

Also the 1000R curvature is too extreme IMHO icon_idea.gif

Looks like the polarizer is peeling off from the LCD panel itself due to moisture getting into the gaps between the panel and the polarizer (this is common in hot and humid weather). You can actually try to fix it by replacing the polarizer, and LCD polarizers are very cheap:

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/polarize...34ph3o&search=1 (for 32 inch panels, but you can always cut them to size if you want) icon_idea.gif

Hey guys, anyone bought DELL S2421H Monitor?
Anyone suffers from Backlight Bleed from this monitor as this Monitor is IPS panel.
Do most IPS have IPS Glow/Backlight Bleed for cheap and expensive monitor range?

Thanks.
*
If you want monitors without BLB or IPS glow, either go OLED, or find a monitor with A-TW polarizer (Advanced True White), but monitors with such polarizers are restricted to professional grade monitors, and heck most monitor manufacturers stopped using it due to green and magenta glow on the monitor corners, affecting color performance icon_idea.gif

Also, you might want to avoid super thin bezels as IPS glow tend to affect monitors with thin bezels (this is why most older monitors rarely suffer from IPS glow) icon_idea.gif

...and yes, most if not all consumer grade IPS monitors suffer from IPS glow and backlight bleed, unless you are talking about professional grade monitors with binned panels tongue.gif
Dell is one of the better ones out there as they mostly use LG/Samsung/AUO panels, and LG is one of the better panel manufacturers out there icon_idea.gif

Viewsonic vx2418 good?
IPS or VA panel is better?
*
On budget monitors, usually IPS>VA as those entry level Samsung VA panels (which is frequently used in entry level monitors) are quite poor when it comes to motion handling performance icon_idea.gif

have 1 question to ask
what's the effect of response time for monitor?
lower ms = faster & vice versa?
sorry for asking a noob question
*
Usually lower is better, but bear in mind that manufacturer quoted numbers (aka '1ms') are mostly false and response times can vary wildly on different refresh rates, depending on monitor firmware, settings and panel type icon_idea.gif

Check reviews from the likes of Hardware Unboxed/TFTCentral/PCMonitors.info if you want a detailed review icon_idea.gif
