I'm new to Damansara Foresta and this topic.

I find that the gym there is almost always too hot. I don't speak Malay, so it's difficult to communicate with the guards, but they don't seem to understand that the gym should be cool during normal hours, not hotter than outside.

One time a guard thought that I actually wanted it hotter, not cooler.

The guards normally have all the AC turned off. Only some of them realize that they have a remote hand held device that controls the temperature, so some of them will just switch it on at your request, and the thermostats will be set so high that they don't cool the room at all.

So can someone educate the guards as to how to cool the gym? Is it simply too expensive to keep the gym cool during operating hours? If so, why not just close it and be done with it?
