Well, the Tougetsu Matsuri I ordered which was slightly above RM500 and delivered using RSAL went through without any problems.

And off-topic, but in my line of study I'd have to order stuff from European countries which cost well above RM500, some even close to RM10,000. Of course several was inspected by customs, but there's quite a few which passed through without any delay.

I can't really say it's an absolute thing. It really depends on the officer at work.

Heck, I'd actually be surprised if she'd be released this November at all, lol.

To be safe, I'd expect just one more delay (maybe to January-February) before she'd become available.

Speaking of Monogatari series, I'd really like Gaen Izuko and Oikura Sodachi to be made into figures. Gaen Izuko probably won't, but Oikura Sodachi is kinda sorta part of Araragi's "harem", even though she hated him, so I'd expect a figure of her soon maybe.

Sodachi as a character is pretty meh for me as well, but I can see her turning out well if done by the correct manufacturer/sculptor.

Check your mailbox (the actual physical one) every now and then to see if you got a letter from customs. You can also call Poslaju and provide them with the tracking number to be informed of where it is now.

Another thing I should add is try not to use premium couriers such as DHL or FedEx. Amazon Japan sent GSC's Chitoge to me using DHL, and despite the declared value of 8,200 yen (it's actual value even) it was still opened to be inspected. There's even a piece of paper with a letterhead from customs attached, stamped "dilepaskan". Luckily mine was a relatively harmless figure, but imagine customs opening the DHL box to find your R18 figurine.

How'd you find out it was detained? Mind sharing the Pos Malaysia tracking info? Anyway, interested in if you could ultimately get away without paying any taxes, and of course wouldn't want the figure to be taken away from you too.

What did Poslaju tell you regarding parcels seized due to prohibited nature?

Also you might not want to freely share your tracking number. I can easily pose as you to go pick up the parcel before you do. Wouldn't do that for sure, but its privacy breach is probably the same as sharing your address.
