Saya rasa anda tak pandai berfikir. P = gear removed from the gear box. N + brake together it's about Gear 1 with brake. Putting N is more damaging.and if someone bang u when u put in P, why u care about the cost of repair while the other party will responsible for itreason is there is an armature extended click into the gear when you put in "P", if there is a follower hit your car behind when you are at "P", gearbox will be damaged more serious and lead to expensive repairing.
