thats not a feedback, more like an opinion since most of us dont do custom painting, I know you dont do custom painting
feedback more like someone who already did/experience it

and thats not my view, thats a general view of gunpla, no bias between 'grunt' or 'protagonist/main suit'
many gunpla modeller do custom painting regardless it is grunt or not as long as they found fit with their choices

that with all the words, I decided to use my existing HG Arios which is main suit rather than grunts

Yes, its my own opinion. Maybe I'm just thinking to much....

To quoted a line from the Lego movie, 'it is recommended for aged 14 and above, they need to put it there'.

That movie made me felt a bit guilty to my kid since all my Lego collection is off limits.

Speaking of which..On a not really related topic.

My 17 years old cousin cannot even imagine how to assemble these "insanely" (according to him) sophisticated Gunpla. He asked, what if you cannot figure out how to do it? What if you did it wrong?

With all due respect, I really think kids this gen are playing a little too much of video games. A little handcraft and skills will be healthy for them.

I know I will share the love of Gunpla with my kids in the future. I am going to start with SD Hi Nu Gundam.

Well it's easy to be overwhelmed.. I started when I was in Secondary school from SD > 1/100 > HG > MG

Latest challenge will try to apply Spray Can Top Coating.. still no courage/dedication to try spray painting...

Now go picture in your mind; Next-gen 17 year olds who cannot imagine how to play "complex" physic-based games like angry bird. "What if you missed the pig!?" laugh.gif

TBH i feel all 'creating' hobbies are good. Lego, gunpla, transformers etc. Just that due to the nature of the licenses etc, they're quite expensive.

Inb4 video games also got benefits i.e. driving etc.

This thread has been cold for the last one or two days.

Here's my current WIP. Completed the build, untouched except for the gold painted horns and the mane (folded in the backpack). Going to paint the exposed inner frame with gunmetal (or I do believe silver also works well with the black armor contrast). Decal and topcoat afterwards biggrin.gif

this one Times Square GA got accept PO. RM145 for PO, which is still acceptable IMO.

I have a question, since the Strike Ver RM. Launcher and Sword pack is P-Bandai Limited and price is sky high now, thinking to get the old Launcher/Sword strike with the new Ver. RM decals, since both of them uses the same mould. Did Bandai sell just the weapon for MG 1/100 previously, or it's actually in the MG 1/100 Launcher/Sword Strike Gundam box?
