QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ May 30 2014, 02:00 PM) Yes from WAVE. Have to commission it to someone to build and paint it, as it clearly beyond my level, and can't afford to make mistake as the kit was hard to get very old kit right? I had one and it was ultra tough (need to use adhesion one!) ... am looking for any new 5-star story model kit...

QUOTE(Exiled_Gundam @ Jun 20 2014, 03:09 PM) I got the same question as Exiled_Gundam... I had a Wave's L.E.D Mirage before, ultra hard to build, need to use glue one. But not sure about this Volks, and according to the website it's only available later this month.

QUOTE(nazrul90 @ Jun 28 2014, 07:31 PM) this is now my officially the all time hated Gundam As a big SF fan myself, this is QUOTE(StarGhazzer @ Jun 29 2014, 09:45 AM) never a huge fan of clear part kits... they all look weird and it's a pain with nub marks. the best clear part kit is still the banshee, since it's not really that transparent due to the dark armour pieces. by the way, found something that might be helpful for those looking for replacement kits which we know is not easy to obtain http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/finetoolkits/m....=1&_ipg=&_from=pricey, but at least it's an option Actually until today I still have no idea how to deal with nub mark on clear/ metallic part. If file it it's all gone... So I rather take the pain the paint my gundam all over than any titanium version.

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jul 5 2014, 12:39 PM) You can minimize the problem by adding the blu tack at the wrist, did that to my 3.0, Nu and Jesta and so far they can hold better. However, for Jesta I used the dry super glue method on top of the tack, now the palm is harder to be disconnected from the wrist joint. That's what I did, only help 'a bit'. My Sazabi got terrible issue to hold his rifle...

Guys I wanna ask something about color. See the pic below (grabbed from Gundamguy) what's the color used to achieved the glossy metallic effect? I compared with with mine which used silver leaf from Tamiya, it's not as glossy as this one.

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jul 7 2014, 11:41 AM) Easiest to achieve that for me is chrome + Tamiya Smoke. You can also use gunmetal color and gloss coat. QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Jul 7 2014, 11:49 AM) Easiest method, Alclad. Best chrome paint ever. Black underlayer, Alclad chrome over and then lightly dusting off with soft hand brush, kautim. However u cant get Alclad in msia (i cant find 1 anywhere, if u know pls do share that info), u'll have to import it from ebay or something. QUOTE(mf_yamato @ Jul 7 2014, 11:54 AM) u need gloss black as undercoat, and mist coat of silver on top of it... i use gaianote starbright silver.... and shines great... Thanks Sifu, I got an urge to re-paint all the nozzles for my Sazabi

QUOTE(saihoe @ Jul 8 2014, 03:59 PM) sorry abit out of topic..i just realize that in singapore you cant use can spray in open air like using it in the field or something..need to get a AB set already..have anyone tried carry on to flight an AB set before? Do it at the staircase there. That's how I spray all my gundams (of course make sure you do it at the stair which between 2 level, so less likely to get caught)
