QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Jun 24 2014, 09:28 PM) Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the advanced engineering of kits like Nu ver. ka as well, and I have little love for Nightingale in any form so maybe i'm not the best person to even be discussing it. However, you have to see where Bandai is coming from. Nightingale has never been animated. Even as a Char suit, it has far less recognition than Sazabi or the Zaku II, and Bandai can't take the risk of making a monster like that only for it to financially fail. Then there's the structural issues - Nightingale would run the risk of MAJOR structural danger if made with Nu/Sazabi ver ka type engineering, especially with those giant thruster pods that stick out on the sides. don't worry, i've always understood that nightingale would be difficult to be converted to plastic, and at least now nightingale fans have an option (other than 3rd party)You can say it about a lot of mobile suit designs, but Nightingale especially was clearly not designed with the intention of it ever being converted to plastic. i just have to say i'm not too impressed with it, given now that bandai managed to engineer lighter plastic like in Nu ver Ka.. i would think give it a few more years and bandai could be able to create a nice MG for it |

QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Jun 24 2014, 10:16 PM) I'm just hoping that the Bandai rep who said the Leo from Gundam Wing would be the next RE 1/100 kit after GP04 was telling the truth. That's still kinda BS considering 90% of the kit is already made via MG Tallgeese, but f*** it - I WANT A LEO! I can finally have my personal 3-unit grunt army. i kind of doubt it.. given that it's pretty much 90% tallgeese, it would be more fitting to release it in MG instead of re-engineering another mold for the Leogiven bandai's current pattern, i don't think we'll like how it's going to be distributed |

Not sure why the backpack of the gouf r35 has to stick out so much with the balls.. i assume those are propellants of some kind.. but i'm nit sure why it has to look like balls, and why it has to protrude so much
Other than that, i do love the gouf's design |

I think it will do well with a bit of a more greyish white.. as it is now it's too clear.. and with the puke gold inner frame looking like flesh tone... well.. hence my earlier remark

because u can't just plate gold on a few parts on the runner?
it's pretty much why they released the hyper mode god and master gundam.. so people can have the chance to make Chinan's Master Gundam without plating half plates, and earning more money by milking the mold |

QUOTE(TheAdmiral @ Jul 5 2014, 11:46 AM) Nah, i dont c anything that indicate an improvement to the joint. Only slight changes to the shape. i had issues with the fingers feeling quite fragile.. i broke off Nu ver ka's finger while cleaning the nubs.. maybe i was a bit too forceful but yeah, it does give a sense of fragilityAlso the biggest problem with 3.0 hand is not the finger, its the wrist and I dont think they have change anything. So far all the poses we have seen is it holding the riffle straight down or tug it under the arm, its probably suffering from the same flaws as all other 3.0 hand kit. Mayb thats y Bandai nvr include the hyper mega bazooka launcher. though i do agree the wrist is the main issue, i'm not sure how much they can do to fix it while retaining the posability QUOTE(Vorador @ Jul 5 2014, 11:46 AM) erm talk about hand, how many of new MG Sazabi ver. ka owner think that the wrist joint is terrible? (Always fall of when adjusting posture) TheAdmiral just pointed this out |

QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jul 5 2014, 12:10 PM) about the 3.0 hands' wrist problem, I never had any problem with it, either mp01 or mp02, both works fine for me then i think u got pretty lucky.. because the wrist thing is a prevalent problem among all new kits.. the Nu i built had a problem holding the rifle straight out and the wrist always droops downwards |
