Trimming the nubs. Do NOT hold the piece from one end to one end, hold it in the middle.

RGs 101 laugh.gif be extremely careful, properly bend and test before trimming or fitting.. this grade needs to be handle with extreme care whistling.gif

old vs new, not very visible in terms of outlook, but engineering and build is just amazing

I think it is VERY visible in terms of outlook. One look and you can tell the skirt and the legs are much better.
*
well it's because one is properly panel lined and one isn't tongue.gif
but mainly the proportions, not much difference.. but posability and playabilty, parts separation, definitely way better

never tried non-scale before. what are your main complaints ?
*
Non scale pretty much bugs people because it doesnt match anywhere.. so lets say theres no decent HG deathscythe hell.. and RD comes out with one, hooray?
Nope.. he wont fit into your wing shelf because he's non scale, not 1/144, so to make him fit in u need to buy all the other RD wing figures so they look proportionate

and they are not even to scale within their own line, like RD deathscythe will have different scale with RD Unicorn.
Guess that's why they are Figure, not Model.

Not a complaint, just stating my preference, and regret that I can't join in the fun for this new figure line.
*
if this new figure line is affordable, i think i may go for it.. so far pics have been looking very promising

fake news
local shop trying to scam
*
not understanding the scamming part.. they're a pretty established toy shop, not sure what good 'scamming' will do them
plus people who supposedly pre-ordered would be very very angry and since they have a physical shop, they'll be in big trouble.. i'm not sure what's there to gain from this fake news.. though i still think it's highly improbable that it's legit

Apparently there are 3 batches for the parts; September, October and November. The one I opened is for November one, which was just added I think. Last time (when they announced the first batch) didn't open order coz my friend there will be in Malaysia the whole September
*

personally i quite like the attention HG is getting.. usually i don't get many MGs, but when i do, they really have to wow me.. and often the ones i pick up do
but the HG line so far, i'm enjoying it this year.. plus HGBF lines, it's a good year for HG lovers

Well you have to understand, they are the distributor, they shouldn't sell at prices similar or lower than normal retailers.

Just like when you buy a handphone, buying at Sony shop is more expensive than buying from retailers.
*
QUOTE(carpathia @ Sep 13 2014, 06:40 PM)
No arguments there if I walk into litt takk store but this is supposed to be a WAREHOUSE SALE. Whats the point calling it a warehouse sales if the prices are same as outside??
*
^ this is the exact point we are trying to make
they might as well call it 'regular-old-normal-sale' and be done with it

not that i'm complaining though, yes the things there might be higher than retail sometimes, but sometimes you get a bit of clearance on some items and some hidden gems.. u just have to be there at the right place at the right time

There are many items being on sale, they can't literally slash price down for everything. I'm sure other things being sold during warehouse sales are not discounted, yet people assume they all are.
*
they are.. some are heavily slashed, such as merchandise in front, outside the warehouse
