I couldn't believe this...I've tried to play survival mode for 5 times just to reach at least 5 days... and on my 5th play today.. I was very confident that I'm able to reach the 5th survival day since i'm already on 4th survival day and an hour away from the 5th day..

finding out that I've ran out of food..so I decided to run all over the mall like usual to hunt for survivors..went to North Plaza then exited and headed towards Food Court..

stepping right ahead of the entrance i opened the door to the food court's entrance and it HUNG...few minutes before i'm able to get my hands on my laser sword.. I couldn't believe my eyes that its the 5th time I've failed so close to success... D'OH !

so a note to all u guys trying to survive out there.. DONT ENTER THE FOOD COURT WHEN YOU'RE ON DAY 4.. i'm gonna take some rest off this game and head for some other games like R* Table Tennis...

i got the 50 target achievement up on the warehouse roof. beside the elevator (where u met ur first survivor with the golf club) looking down on the outdoor carpark with lots of zombies. and yes, they were quite far away.

Based on what Calvin has mentioned and also what I've seen on the Gamefaqs boards, it would seem to a LOT of ppl experiences hangs when they enter the food court at day 4, so... finish all the food there before then ppl!

So.. in summary

In survivor mode after Day 4, AVOID going into food court area!

nice heads up....hopefully im gonna start my survivor soon too...plan to do it starting at 8pm then taking rotations with my bro...should be done by 10am the next day..lol

Just started playing the game. I was too busy killing zombie that i forgot to protect the other survivor

dont need to bother much bout the survivors at the entrance plaza when u first start the game... but make sure u keep in touch with your time while ur whacking those zombies...

Can you even save the survivors at Entrance Plaza when the zombies break in? I never tried and the Guidebook said don't bother so I simply cleared the way for myself

i tried saving them when i was lvl50 and holding the real mega buster...they just dnt feel like following u....hahaha...

Gourmet Achievement Guide

Description
The Gourmet Achievement requires you to eat every food item in the game as well as Juices. Well my Guidebook has a list of all the foods and juices. So basically I just had to track down each food item and eat it. However I quickly lost track of the food items I had and hadn't already eaten I didn't want to write on the guidebook and I don't have a photocopy machine so I compiled an Excel document listing all the Foods and Juices and I would mark off the ones that I've already eaten. I have personally tested this guide from A-Z. Meaning I started 72 Hour Mode all the way from the beginning and I have managed to obtain the Gourmet Achievement using my guide

The Excel document is attached to this post. It is an Excel 2003 document so everyone should be able to open it without any problems. You can modify the document but please do not claim it as yours. I got the information from the guidebook and my own experience and I compiled the Excel document myself.

i use my Lift Up skill to carry one of the survivors up the stairs...but it didn't work as well...hmm

You cannot save the people at the start, just let them go!

i normally just kill em... better being killed by me than zombies...

I was letting survivors be killed by zombies to try and get all the deaths, so far I've seen

- Zombie pile, which shows one zombie chewing on your poor guy first then a whole pile of them drops on him
- A variant of zombie pile
- Zombie 69 till death... DON'T ASK!
- Zombie rips jugular, vomits blood a bit, then your now zombi'ed surivor gets up
- Survior takes a gun out of no where and caps himself, does not turn into a zombie this way.

Interesting things to do with fresh zombies.. THEY CAN BE DECAPITATED, or MELON BASHED! Take that u crying Aaroon!

Enough Dead Rising for today. Just finished 72 Hour Mode with Ending A. Got the PP Collector Achievement as well as many others. Gonna go Overtime tomorrow today ( Posted this message at 12.00am sharp)

ur survivor shot himself in the head marauderz?? now that i must see

yea, my next run is to get the psychopath pictures, so I'm gonna make sure every survivor dies at the hands of the zombies!

I got the 10 Psychopath Photos Achievement yesterday. There are 12 in total and I missed 2. Lucky I was still able to get it. I would suggest taking a Photo when the Psychopath is still alive so you don't forget. As you as you regain control of Frank after the cutscene immediately snap a photo and blast away with your Mega Buster My fight with Larry the butcher lasted around 7 seconds

all boss fights last around 7 seconds with a mega buster..lol..sumtimes even shorter
i remember killin Jo in like 4 seconds

I beat Overtime Mode just now without dying. How come I didn't get the Unbreakable Achievement?

not without dying, did you get captured before or not? Supposed to be if you never get cpatured b4 you get it.
