Try this
1- reset apps data in apps manager, copy whatsapp folder (backup) from ext sd to internal memory, run whatsapp. Make sure when run whatsapp, it behave like 1st time run - activate no, search for old data.
2- if no whatsapp folder in internal memory, just whatsapp a few of your friends and see if the folder created, if yes, then reset whatsapp data in apps manager and follow instruction above.
Solved already. This is what I did.1- reset apps data in apps manager, copy whatsapp folder (backup) from ext sd to internal memory, run whatsapp. Make sure when run whatsapp, it behave like 1st time run - activate no, search for old data.
2- if no whatsapp folder in internal memory, just whatsapp a few of your friends and see if the folder created, if yes, then reset whatsapp data in apps manager and follow instruction above.
1) Connect to PC to copy the old phone entire Whatsapp folder into SD card.
2) Insert the SD card to 1S and use the 1S file explorer app to copy and paste to phone memory.
3) Insert the SIM card and download/install Whatsapp on 1S.
4) Activate Whatsapp as usual and it will prompt to restore from backup file.
Thanks for the help.
