QUOTE(red streak @ Jul 9 2014, 02:24 PM) Well a scalper is a scalper regardless. He deprived a legitimate buyer of the phone because he wanted to "have fun" ordering. Xiaomi no longer releases "unsold units" so every idiot that does this means that there are that fewer units available for sale. Plus, this isn't your father's garage sales thread. Thanks for the info, btw what should i do after get this phone? I see many of u say to root to custom rom instead of official, lol really have no clue coz this consider my 1st android phone. And if i want to root, any website / forum / video tutorial to show step by step. I guess root android is some kind like jailbreak. The light is supposed to blink when it's charging. Apparently it's to show how much charge is left or something because it doesn't have an led screen like other PBs. Says the Master Scalper himself whose blatant self-advertising of his products numerous times has nearly gotten the thread itself deleted and the Mi3 thread banned entirely. Despite the fact that mods clearly stated that he is abusing the rules with his blatant self-promotion in the OPENING POST itself and the fact that he actually freaking linked to his own sales threads in the earlier versions, he had the gall to chide others for doing what he has been doing and is still doing. Again, this is not your father's garage sales thread. You want to advertise the fact that you deprived someone of their potential phone, move it to Garage Sales. Should be within a week give or take a few days. I got one set of PBs in 6 days and the other one took 9 days to arrive. |

QUOTE(V12Kompressor @ Jul 9 2014, 02:17 PM) earliest, Saturday. Latest, Tuesday next week. Worst case scenario, Wednesday. Just checked my order status, the redmi 1s still at processing stage "received payment", while my another order (5k pb + case + sp) already "shipped", guess i will receive by this week. That's what I've experienced from buying Xiaomi stuffs so far. p/s: sometimes they deliver on Sunday also. They will give you a call first before attempting delivery on Sunday. This post has been edited by Hawaiiii: Jul 9 2014, 03:27 PM |

And does all the mi smart phone using the same ips screen? I mean are they just the size and reso is difference? I see youtube review redmi 1s screen is a little bit white compared to mi3, or maybe just the light reflection factor. I never got chance to test the real phone, everyone is talking about xiaomi but i never see xiaomi

QUOTE(CalvinCLK @ Jul 10 2014, 10:29 AM) That's always the question from other people to me too. lol No doubt, china branded phone had bad reputation for the past, and i always reply them "never try never know, once u try, hari hari mau!" Lol...Honor 3C has been on sales for 2 months and it's still selling like a hotcake.. wonder wonder.. Xiaomi is relatively new tho. 1 mth plus.. |

QUOTE(coolstore @ Jul 10 2014, 11:17 AM) huawei is already a international reputable company, local ppl more confident to this kind large company than xiaomi though. Xiao mi is follow apple style, order online then send from china warehouse, easy control and their courier ups / fedex is just like working for them. They dont need other warehouse in other country coz they store all stocks at china, in future not sure lar. Like this strategy, their shipping cost would be higher compared to bulk shipping, but they save cost for warehouse too.seeing their operation style, huawei bring stock here first then sell, ship out next day, fast and efficient. and having local retail channel. xiaomi don even have a base to keep phone stock (not even plan to?), all send by international courier only and take around 1 week time, let alone strengthen their international product image through local retail kiosk / IT fair. that makes grey importer can compete at this weak point. another matter is 'xiaomi' is a too china name, when they wanna appear in overseas market, only find out this name seems under ppl perception not at par with other maker name. |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Jul 11 2014, 08:36 AM) It's still a pretty good deal. Where else can find RM3x Powerbank? I have colleagues who got it also. RM25 x2 + RM15 shipping = RM32.50 each. They're happy with it. The 10400mA Powerbank is too heavy for comfort to them. Don't let the kiasu mentality make you keep thinking the 10400mA is more worth it for just a few ringgit more. It's heavier and bigger. Ya i dont need so big capacity, unless i go in jungle for a week lol. 5k pb still very sweet for me for daily use, can charge iphone 3 times! But i will sill try luck to get 10k pb next tuesday lar. No choice, too kiasu already |
