Yup. But next gen of Redmi Note is only 1 sim.

So either you want a phone with faster LTE but sacrifice dual sim or 3G with dual sim.
Depend on which one you prefer. So far i have been using Maxis 4G LTE, quite disappointed that most area cannot get 4G connection . Even i can get 4G, my quota will finish more faster than usual.

another way, open contacts and sroll up & down, the capital letter shown in the middle circle will lag on note, but smooth on 1s.

while play game note > 1s

Thats the same hardware for the TD-SCDMA version in china.
Its still the first gen Redmi 1S with updated software for LTE Support.
Not second gen.
And yea, TD-LTE is not supported in our country.
And yeah Redmi 1S is second gen

I think they use mediatek is bcoz to cut the budget.
Thats why Redmi1S 4G is cheaper than the current model.

Second generation Redmi Note might have S405/805 with 2/3GB of RAM, 8/16/32GB internal storage with 720P/1080P/2k display.
If you can wait for it, why not?
