mi3 purchase thru mi.com/my they free u 1 micro simtry,
but they say the simtray got problem. will stuck inside. hard to take out.

so.... the question is. do we really need to change our micro/nano sim bak to standard sim to ensure the safety of our phone?

Yea.. That's y I cancelled astro n use Apple TV instead.. Thinking of getting mi box, but not sure can use here or not.. I hate using china DNS, after a while need to change to another one or else getting slower...

None too. I'm still a 17years old kiddo. Parent's won't allow me to purchase stuff using credit card/debit card.

I'm using both iPhone 5s & Mi3 now...well iphone 5s still wins...the camera, speed, etc..the only mi3 winning is the design, screen & pricing..maybe its because i have used iphones for 4 years now (since iphone 4) & i get bored with iphone design..
The screen ~ 5S still wins in terms of contrast & colors, mi3 win the size..but, ips screen is not a screeen to be reckon with..mi3 may lose on colors & clarity, but still wins sony z1..lol

Built Quality - iphone 5s significantly wins. Xiaomi mi3 may have a very nice built quality for a rm889 phone though.

Camera ~ come on, its the Apple iphone 5S. there nowhere mi3 could pass over pic clarity & quality.

Design ~ mi3 MAY HAVE  copying phone design (a lil bit, just like htc one, dun tell me it isn't for the sake of wanna win)...BUT,i really like mi3's design, more than sony z1/z2 & even more than my iphone 5s..earlier i thought i would not like silver/grey & prefer the black 1..once i opened the box today & spend just 2-3 minutes, i would prefer silver/grey mi3 now..its silver/grey color added with black front touch screen & panel, i'm not sure why, but it keeps me thinking of lightsaber or things in Star Wars Movies..not sure why..

Gaming ~ dun think any android or any os smart phones could win over ios cos game apps are so many to choose on ios. when it comes to gaming, 5s never fail me for even once, except small screen. I still find not time to properly test my mi3 yet on games, but i bet it would be nice, if not win over iphone 5s.
Conclusion ~ MI3 is a PERFECT smartphone with RM889 pricing, i found many flagships from many brands won't win over mi3, be it design, specs, pricing & even the box (maybe i love recyclable box design)...Instead of PAINFULLY taking out our hard-earned RM2400 for a "plastic" phone with just extra water resistance feature, which i dun & will not even spill water on any of my phones, i strongly recommended Xiaomi Mi3.

With iPhone 5S, which RM2300 & RM900 device respectively, if i'm a buyer without any phone on hand, or i would like to upgrade my old phones, i would choose mi3. RM900 wont hurt my pocker if i dun like it. RM2k+ is just too high for many.
As an avid iPhone user, my 1st intention of mi3 was to test it since i'm curious why the hell this brand is so special, & at just RM889, if i dun like it i'll just sell it to someone. But if its great, i will sell out my iphone 5s..BUT NOW, i decided to keep both & gonna try another set for my wifey..hehehe

i think can try the Glass screen protector, around 3x - 4x can get redmax or nillkin both brand me also 1st time hear.

yes, Glass-M is cheap and good.  Applied it on my Note 3 and Ipad Air, still look perfect after few months.    Too bad they do not release one for the mi3 yet.

Saw a lot of comments on screen protector.. maybe i can share some info too..
1. Not all PET Film got bubbles, at least imos OPC 3SAS oleophobic sp dont. Im using it personally. its RM60 each but it worth every single cents. And please dont complaint too much on normal sp too, its only RM10. What can u expect from that? like ppl always said, u pay peanuts, then u get peanuts lor..

2. yes. mi3 comes with gorilla glass. only mi2 using asahi glass. And if you willing to spend, there are also corning gorilla glass sp available in the market. in RM approx RM159 each. Its all depends if you willing to pay or not. So far, for M8, Z2 and ip5S users, those tried never regret, some accidentally drop and crack the sp, and they immediately wanted to get another piece. and again, theres a reason why corning is responsible for more than 2 billion screens.

3. if some of u did follow iPhone 5s accessories thread, you will see both glass-m and SGP are not really good in terms of oleophobic coating. mostly last u around 1 month then you will see it fades. for glass-m, since its cheap, ppl dont complaint too much but for SGP, u pay for premium but quality so-so only... u are paying for the brand rather than the quality.

4. Nilkin is another sp which quality roughly the same as glass-m but selling at higher price since not many are selling it compare to glass-m. But frankly the cost of both is around the same in china.

hope the above info helps.. some of u might thinks we are bias on our comments, but we are user too before we sell. We tried a lot of brands before we decided to commit on a brand. We dont sell based on price cos that's short term biz. We sell based on quality so ppl will come back when they need any.

these are are not glass, its just the imos OPC 3SAS oleophobic sp.

I think the photos should explain why I personally would recommend imos. its the best sp so far in malaysia. and thats the reason we decided to choose it over other brands available.

er... how should i put it.. can a plastic shatter? to me, its a marketing gimmicks started by Sony.. a plastic film will not shatter even if you use a hammer or a nail on it. only the screen will. And if you are concern of the screen cracks/shatter after a drop, why not consider using a glass sp?
Whether is shatter or not, it doesnt makes much difference, you will have to send it for replacement. right? you u will still use it?

anyway, i try to answer your question. the adhesive of imos is an enhanced version that sticks well and leave no residue.
