changing the lcd screen would not void the warranty right?
*
My SA advice:
1) Don't cut any wires if you install your own LCD.
2) If got problems need to claim, change back to original radio.

I think maybe if say, speaker spoilt, then you change back to the original lor...but scare if other eletronic parts involved they also blame you messing with their wires....sweat.gif

Auto climate control. Honda 7 inch player with hdmi mirroring. So much more...
*
Those features not really important. Niice to have only. Touchscreen easily can install one outside. Auto climate control no big deal...setting the aircond temperature by hand is not gonna kill you. The only thing really important for the V-Spec are the side airbags.

btw, wanna ask, which SC is good around PJ? Don't want to send to crap SC and later makes my blood boil with their incompetance..

Too plain? Stick a Sora Aoi poster inside your car lo! tongue.gif

Want to die meh...Wife will rage.

Anyway honestly the audio system in all specs except V is fugly...I will rather install a cheap and nice looking aftermarket radio..with touchscreen....but SA adbised dont cut the wires....you guys install after market entertainment hub?

Found this smile.gif
http://honda.com.my/model/services/accord

Honda seems to say its ok to use the normal oil for 10k!

sad.gif a bit sceptical. think i will do normal oil change at every 5k interval.

QUOTE
Do I have options of choosing the engine oil for service?
Yes, customers are given options to use any type of Honda genuine engine oil for service. We provide variants including Honda genuine mineral oil, semi-synthetic oil and full-synthetic oil.
So why do some of you still need to go 3rd party change oil again?? Just change to full-synth one shot at the SC lah.

My SC die die don't want change the oil for me during 1000km even when I insisted on paying it.
RM128 or RM187? There's 2 types of full syn oil from Honda? What's the other one?
*
That's the weirdest thing i've ever heard....AFAIK, SC will always change oil at 1000km 1st service...is it a Honda thing? Just checked their website...says inspection only...same for Accord 2013...then go there for what? SC to look and see????

Any other people have similar experience where the SC refuse to change the engine oil at 1000km??? shocking.gif

dig up something:
Singapore Honda Accord 2013 maintenance schedule:
http://www.honda.com.sg/cars/service_pdf/A...gePriceList.pdf

Change engine oil!!!

Malaysia Honda Accord 2013 maintenance schedule:

http://honda.com.my/service_maintenance/maintenance/?id=9

Inspection only!!!!

There's no City 2014 in Singapore website yet...but this is weird...is Honda up to something?? Remove the replacement so that the maintenance schedule looks cheaper??? mad.gif

I have just posted at Honda Malaysia Facebook.

https://www.facebook.com/hondamalaysia

Please show some support to raise the issue, especially those who have already been through the 1000km service.

"Your Honda engine was delivered with an oil that is specially formulated for new engines that have not yet developed their "natural" wear patterns and may contain minute particles from the manufacturing process.
American Honda strongly recommends this special oil be left in the engine long enough for these wear patterns to develop, usually until the first maintenance interval specified in your Owner's Manual, based on your specific driving conditions"

Taken from Honda USA. So guys please don't screw the poor SC for taking care of your engine when you all know nuts about engine oil.

Thanks for the info...later i will kena tembak at Honda FB...hahaha! sweat.gif

@Matrix - http://owners.honda.com/help/faqs

@Thrust - I don't rev that high but I would categorize myself as fast driver (Not crazily fast but most of the time i am doing 130-150kmh) on highway. Based on your explanation, the "red" one would serve me better? I don't mind to pay slightly more for long term protection smile.gif

Thanks ProX for the link! I think green oil enough for me then...only wife doing city driving, not vroom-vroom. biggrin.gif

Honda deleted my post asking about the no engine oil change at 1000km.....not very professional. They should be open and explain the reason. At least Mitsubishi kena tembak kaw-kaw at their FB, they give standard bot reply "Please arrange visit with our SC for further investigation". mad.gif

Aiyoyoyoyo...u guys didn't read the post(s) above? doh.gif

Honda wants the engine to develop a normal wear pattern.

Let me use a layman analogy...

Your soldiers are meant to be marching for 10KM before they take a break
But u allow them to rest after only 1KM
U will make them spoiled brats

Something like that tongue.gif
*
Yeah, butbit would be proper for Honda Malaysia to explain to its customers.
Also strange that Honda Singapore has different maintenance plan for the same Accord 2013. How to explain?

hmm.gif  i thinking of getting trunk tray and smart tag...door visor i think is local made 1(will check with him). if local made 1 i heard will increase wind noise when go high speed.

btw, my SA oso say if we do the window tint outside, it will void the warranty for anything related to window. Is it true??
*
Tipu lah...all the tinting is not from Honda. City doesnt comes with tint factory default.

Actually if any sensor gets damaged by the tint water... yes you can't claim  sweat.gif

Regardless, you also can't claim. Tint does not comes with City. Only the SA branch has business dealing with the tint companies. Some cars, like my fake Lancer xomes with tint factory default, so that is different story. SA tipu.
