light-medium footed, Highway drive can get me 17-18km/l, city drive can get me average around 10-12km/l, with normal mode (eco mode OFF).. if bad traffic jam n peak hour then diff story, probably get me 8-9km/l only

yup, its memang kinda hard to remove the connector.. i got plenty of scratches on my hands, then only manage to take out... unless u remove the whole unit or pull out the HU with the cover a bit, then much easier....

to remove the HU + Cover around it, only 2 screws & washers to remove, then the rest is up to ur skill on removing the clips (which i hate the most..coz i oways break the clips...any clips.. haha!! ) ... not forgetting, the one cover on the meter guage there, has to be removed as well

i hav the manual for old version of Honda Fit/Jazz, but this HU is a new one, on the new car, doubedin somemore, so the circuit shown in the manual might not b applicable to oue project..

10k Km as per Maintenance Manual..

But im planning to change mine every 5K km on my own cost.. so, 5k i change myself at my usual workshop outside, 10k i change at Honda SC, then 15k change again outside, 20k change at Honda SC, etc ...etc...

Found a car sparepart shop nearby my house got sell the same Honda Engine oil as used by Honda. I'll just buy from there, then go ask my workshop foreman change n treat him some TT

When i went to SC did something, i spoke to the SA and the Honda SC Foreman, i ask them every 10K service do they only use Mineral Oil? as per them, they say no, they using the Synthetic SM 0W-20 oil... i said "but the price stated in the maintenance cost shows only RM70+, i tot is Mineral Oil for that price? "They say they will be using 0W-20... i hope its true, and i oso hope they maintain the same price RM70++ and give us Synthetic oil....

Yes, but the connector adapter as shown in pic is for reverse camera with RCA input, tat is different connector from the connector which send input from handbrake and speed (the so called 'bypass' DIY job's connector).

The sockets , One is 20pins one is 24pins... it would be good if anyone can find the similar one, but with 20pins

For those who did HU Bypass, i wonder does ur SVC (Speed Volumen Compensation) works? the blue wire to be shorted to ground, i wonder its used only for the signal for handbrake only or something else as well? coz i was told the HU not only takes signal for handbrake, but also took the speed of car movement... as far as i know, if ur car is moving, u cannot setup the phone setting as well (same warning telling u to look at the road safety)...

has somebody who already did the bypass tried and chk see if SVC works accordingly? When u speed up at highway does ur volume automatically goes up as it should be????

and also while car is moving can u setup ur phone setting? (trying to connect and pair a phone) Any feed back is much appreciated for our sharing

YES, by right when u drive faster speed on highway, the volume will automatically level to go up, as long as ur setting for SVC is not set in OFF position thats y i wonder will that still works or not after we cut the blue bypass wire n short it to ground

I just found out something interesting about our City today :

1) ur car engine is running
2) then u press ur start/stop button to shut off ur engine (** DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR YET!! JUST STAY IN THE CAR WITH POWER OFF!!)
3) now ur engine is not running n car is totally dead, ... even without switching ur push start button or ignition switch to ACCessories, HOWEVER, u can still operate ur power windows n so on!!
4) AFTER u open the door, then only all things will totally dead and then u cant operate power windows anymore

Did everyone noticed that? or its just me who din know about that? hehe

For Twin partner number (nombor kahwin) or 3 digit numbers, its really depending on how nice the number is... U will have to go JPJ n meet the Pengarah to see the list.. Price varies and all price for each numbers are stated in the list. got digit of "4", cheapest RM3XX can get dy, but if nicer one maybe RM7xx or RM8xx or more (maybe?) ... Thats the price i saw in the list when i went to JPJ lastime

Check ur setting, Did u set ur BASS too high? try to set it lower bass , and test again see if the sounds on rear speakers are louder now


edited: i mean, try to set the bass to the middle of the bar, or slightly more than middle a bit, dont set it to full maximum bass..n try again

either they r lazy runner, or he is a newbie who got no jln or know nobody in JPJ. Unless u r looking for superb nice numbers which he can promise to get it for u for a super cheap price, or else i suggest u just go register mySikap and buy the number urself from home, maybe faster rather than rely on those runners. simple process, easy and convenient. cheap also...

can meh? from what i know, if u wan buy Wilayah car plate, u can only go to JPJ at WangsaMaju, there u can only buy Wilayah carplates(unless internal got ppl or pegawai who got jalan lahh.. if u normal ppl walk in to counter only can buy the wilayah number, even runners they also buy at counter).... then for Selangor carplate u need go Shah Alam and there u can only buy Selangor plate number ... just register MySikap lah... easy n safe ur energy querrel with ur runner or spoil ur mood look at their LC face.. no need let them earn runner fees somemore
