Hi RedDevils88, my budget only can stretch up to RM120k. If I got extra RM20k ++, I had booked Honda Accord 2.0 VTI-L. Honda City is a good car, but heard from previous owners from Honda City they have encounter issue with Gearbox, Sterling rack faulty and etc which is cost RM2K and above...this issue is worrying me as next year GST imposed will be another additional cost have to come out from our wallet...

But How about RV? If I not mistaken Kia RV is drop drastically as compare with Japanese maker car. But in terms of feature...it is well equipped...I surprise Korean maker can on par with Japanese car with this price range.

Hi Team, a good tips for those of you have not collect the car and not rush for the receive of the car. Make sure during the time you want to sign for the loan agreement while the car is arrive on the store, make sure complaint to them the dashboard gap issue, armrest not in centre, right passenger mud flap not secure properly, foldable mirror not in same speed and rattling sound when the windows winding up. It is important to send this message to their top management to do something rather than keep on giving customer a problematic car.

How did they treat your car...Did they undergoing thorough Diagnostic to the car as I heard their service is not up to the expectation. Few customer had made complaint due to issue not resolve yet cause them pay extra $$ to change part here and there...

If you drive a car without proper checking during weekend to see if the water level on radiator is at acceptable level, then the red light issue will raise up. For brand new car, this issue should not be existed unless if the rubber inside the water pipe is bite by rats, or undergoing certain extreme condition such as rally off road and the last possible reason is due to car had been used for more than 5 years without proper care. The other issue may cause this issue happen also depends on the driving habit in which if a person keep on fully press the gas pedal to redline or keep on climbing high hills for a period of time also can cause this incident happen.

As I mention earlier, before collect a new car, have to highlight to them the issue that happen such as dashboard gap and etc in which you all keep on rushing for the car and end up getting a problematic car.

Nowadays cars need to spend time to build, especially for those that come with plenty of features in which if the personnel who did not installed the parts properly, end up customer will make complaint due to loose and etc. And eventually affect their brand reputation

Hi RedDevils88, this is what I plan to do in which when SA called us to sign for loan agreement, make sure go onsite to pinpoint the problem with the car and let them rectify the issue first before collect the car. If possible, test drive for it and ensure no rattling sound before sign the loan agreement.

This is not a budget car. For you maybe Yes...But for those who falls under lower or lower middle income group...is an expensive car.

Yeah, this is where I can see plenty of complaint made on current and previous generation Honda City that make my hearbeat drop as I booked the car after 1 month only realise so many complaint raise by them. I'm the 1st buyer of Honda Car and Honda in my opinion should be a perfect car rather than given customer this kind of problem...and from the first time I wrote my own opinion already being bash by someone who treated me as Toyota salesman...really

I can see Silver colour Honda City V Spec had reach Honda Car Park Loading Bay after confirm with my SA. Anyway, for the Question 3 that you highlight on previous tread, I do not mention doesn't means a car does not have any defect. As their defect is less for C segment car as compare with B segment. Correct me if I'm wrong. And lastly, for this phrase "Imagine later he got the car with ALL the problems he mentioned...can't wait to see his face" - This issue should not happen on my case as I had highlighted all the possible defects issue to my SA as well as to Honda headquarter in Malacca with photo attached with it.

Hi Adrain87, all the tinting being offer is subject to SA recommendation. For my case, my SA deduct to me the tinting cost and ask me to find a good one from outside (V Kool, Illumar, 3M and etc).

The car is already at the showroom in which you need to check chasis number, engine no. and etc before you sign the loan agreement, pay DP and etc. Last time I visited Honda showroom and the SA shown them the chasis number, check engine number and etc before sign the agreement and make the downpayment.

Not sure whether this car come with Paddle Shift. If come with it, should be a good 1

How come D and Hit Emergency Brake Become Not Movable. How about if the car is moving uphill and when the user hit Emergency Brake, then in the midst of Uphill the Hill Assist function is disabled, then it will make the car not controllable and eventually encounter accident.

Haha, good news. Car is arrived already and now decided to tender a good number. May I know for two digit number or twin number the same in JPJ department need to spend how much? Need an advise on this?
