They only asked me whether I'm a policy holder when I requested for the conversion over the phone. Didn't ask me for any policy number at all.

i think either you provide or not they also can check from their end. biggrin.gif

According to what I understood, GE policy can be charged per annum with 0% 12 month EPP instead of paying higher monthly premium.

Is that correct?
*
you mean using this card?

for normal insurance payment, annual payment is cheaper than monthly (except for investment related policy).

Why not 12 month 0% EPP? Isn't that cheaper?
*
as mentioned earlier, investment-linked is also 12 months 0%.
so if you use ge plat monthly auto-debit, you get additional 1% instead of 0.1%.

My monthly is RM 250 and one year whole is only RM 3k. Even though it breaks into 12-month installment, it is still RM 250 for me.
My agent told me, mine has no difference whether paying in lump sum annually, quarterly or monthly. That's why he suggested me to just auto-debit every month rather than me paying RM 3k annually.
In short, mine doesn't have discount. If there is, I would have opted for it long time ago and not auto-debit from my Titanium card earlier and now GE Plat.
*
yeah, because yours is investment-linked policy. other than investment-linked, all others are standard at annual, and adding interest for quarterly and more for monthly.

still many keep this cc for 1%.
but after revision, titanium/blue/pink card 0.1% and ge card 0.5% is the major turndown.

so insulting...

if you have ge insurance, convert your existing to ge card for 1% up to rm1k. otherwise get yourself a aeon watami cc for 3% quarterly rebate.

Hi guys,

i noticed all the cards have been updated on OCBC website where it says 1% for the first RM1,000, then either 0.5% or 0.1% on other spend.

However, i still see OCBC GE card listing as 1%, with no amendment made to subsequent spend. So is that card unlimited 1%?
*
because other ocbc cards revision effective date was on 1/5 but ocbc ge card revision effective date is 1/7. nod.gif

Wah, sifu. Thanks. i planning to get Hong Leong Essential card for unlimited 1%. Because on GE side, no upfront discount, last time pay insurance with OCBC GE got 5% discount on insurance premium, now no more. Better use Hong Leong Essential now.

juz saw your post on list of loyalty cards. you requested second payment from shopback and milkadeal.

I need 4 - 5 months just to accumulate the minimum RM10 from milkadeal to cash out. You are a really high spender eh.

Since you so pro in promo, did you switch to First Basic 38, its the best mobile deal in town right now eh.
*
no need be high spender la. just book a room for 2 nights in agoda one night using shopback (get rm25) and one night using milkadeal (get rm25). then cash out both when time comes. laugh.gif
