normally when u file dispute form, the bank will take out the disputed amount so u don't have to pay until they finish their investigation

ocbc automated system now has a choice to request for fees waiver for credit card - need to key in cc number and handphone number

i tried yest and today got a call back from ocbc regarding my GST waiver, still not successful

gonna call in and cancel it now, bye bye ocbc

after choosing option 1 for english and then option 1 for credit card
the next menu has option 1 for fees waiver

yes, today the cs called me and told me it cannot be waived

so i called to cancel just now at 8:30pm and now it's already gone from my ocbc online banking, talk about efficiency 

Thanks for the steps. Yeap, after choosing Option 1, system will prompt for IC, followed by CC number, and lastly, phone number. Called in and tried too, will update in this thread once I get my request outcome. On a separate note, I recently swiped my OCBC card for a RM13k housing deposit downpayment and later converted it to EPP. Maths worked out to 5+% interest which I thought was pretty decent. Surprised to find out that my RM13k EPP is also entitled for the 1% rebate, thus, my effective interest rate is only 4+%. Awesome!!!!

Yeah, kind of expected that. But my inner me tells me that I should still try, nothing to lose.... :-)
Rarely use this card too so no real reason for them to waive my GST. 95% of my usage goes to my Maybank 2 Card.

Wow, didn't know that there are banks that offer 0% interest for 12 months. Tried and tested before? No gimmicks? Always had the impression that there are alot of underlying T&Cs or hidden cost involved...LOL

probably better to BT to MBB then BT to Aeon ?

it didn't say there is penalty if you settle it early ?

Can share what is the benefit of BT to aeon then to mbb? Aside from paying the full amount in one go..

but i think if you still have some outstanding in aeon card you should BT all to MBB card and then from there BT back to Aeon you should get a lot more points for you to convert into $$$  :nod:

yeah then that's about the same as you could BT multiple times from the same card to aeon  :nod:
only thing is your way is a 3 step process while mine is 2 step  :P
