I have a question, wonder if Edifier or anyone knows.

I'm using Edifier S330 speaker. At the back of the subwoofer, there is a knob that allows us to control the Bass level. And there is a headphone output at the volume controller for the speaker.

My question is, does the Bass level setting on the speaker affects the headphone audio if I'm using the speaker's headphone output?

will want SPDIF for my speakers, 3.5mm jack for my razer carcharias ( audio n mic jack ) thanks.. or is there any better option? budget ~650

since STX uses RCA and 6.3mm jack, I need to use converter right.. will that affect the sound quality?

Thinking of grabbing an asus xonar STX to pair with my edifier R8 2800..
Wanna ask, if i only play music from youtube, am I making full use of the sound card?
or should I get FLAC or 320kpbs MP3 audio?

When playing those HD lossless audio, do I need to change my audio playback samplerate /bitrate?
I come across the term ASIO when browsing.. it seems asus xonar stx support this... asio helps to handle the  changes of the sample rate or bitrate automatically? Or am I wrong here... and to use asio playback, i need to set foobar2000's playback to asio or something?

Hey guys, i need a bit of help.
My Edifier R501 MK2 is sorta acting up.

At first, my front-right and behind-left wasn't working so i tried fiddling around with the wires (disconnecting and reconnecting). Now that those two are working, the center speaker aren't working and the sub isn't giving out any bass. The sub still has the red LED on and toyed around with the controls to no avail. Help?

You mean the 3.5 mm plugs are oxidized or the red and black wires one? 
I connect the speakers to my Asus Xonar DX bro 

followed your advice, some of my other speakers worked, but nothing for center T.T
twisting it around actually did help but no sound for the center speaker. kinda feels like there's no power flowing. used wd-40 for all plugs

New Update!
All speakers are up and running but the bass got noticeably weaker though   
Played around with setting on Asus Audio Center (as i am using the Xonar DX) and still nothing that can help bass much

download hq/buy music, soundcard/dac upgrade, positioning, room acoustic tuning, rca cable upgrade, etc

Now, is there any difference between analog input and optical input? Currently I do not own any sound card, speakers are drive by the on board sound card.

My connection is as below.

Graphic card HDMI to LCD > LCD RCA to R2700.

or should I just use the optical input directly to the speaker?

I read your review on the R2500 studio speaker. Since mine is a new set, what should I use to break-in them? Follow what you did? Use pink noise? I also read Power911's review too, he used pink and white noise if not mistaken. But what will be the duration?

Hello guys, I am planning to get Xonar STX soundcard. Is there any good speaker good for music listening that i can pair it? currently i set budget RM500.
I have sampled R2800, R2700,R2600 in lyn. R2800 sounds quite good, but it's kinda too big and warm. And not sure if it's the unit problem, R2700 and R2600 sounds terrible in comparison. Sounds like radio quality sound. Is it really that big difference to R2800?

Is there any other model i can chekc out? thx

no $$ already, bought few things this month still studying, budget tight. I'm building a rig now. So I duwan spend $$ on buying an external sound card/amplifier. Would like to buy a internal sound card that cost around 300. next semester just buy. Will use onboard 1 first.
nope, you can experience some kind like bass "boast" if place at corner place and you stand at the opposite corner. but in this room, I dunno how to place it lol Currently I place it under my table coz it will .... err as I said just now, corner place but hunting for new spot now. I tried put outside of table, the bass is softer than before, then I tried place under the... the... the... left hand side of the walled table there, bass is stronger a little bit, just a little bit but still failed coz I can feel the bass is come from left downside... something like not balance... bass come from another way. In the end I place it back under my table.

I end up splashing RM600 for a pair of SuperM while waiting for S2000 replacement model.
