That's what people usually do anyways
Hard spring on stock damper, it defeat the purpose of the DAMPENING where the damper supposed to ABSORB shocks(*hence it's known as shock absorber locally). I still can't brain how can people go and mod their spring and leave the shocks stock
It's like I don't care whether the car will fly to moon, as long as I get the cheap mod done
For normal idiots that use lowering sport springs with stock damper, usually the damper will wear off much faster since the shocks is always running on high bounce rate(short/hard springs), the oil seal gets wear off very much faster.
Reason why I always propose to upgrade damper in the 1st place is simple. Have u use retractable ball pen?

So you dismantled it, put your thumb on the spring, press it down and quickly release. What does it do? Fly up. The harder the spring is, the harder you need to press down, the reaction of it fly higher is even more severe. The same goes to the car, the harder the spring goes, the more BOUNCE you get.
Now put it into a different situation. If you have the pen core stick stuff at the middle of the spring. You try to press the spring, but you can't because you hit the pen itself. Regardless how hard you press or how fast you release, does the spring BOUNCE or not?
I leave you think about the logic lar. If u're talking about lowering the car for the LOOK, then dont bother. Huateber spling jiu wang oso doesn't matter as long its low
