just curious, how's the wow scene in KL/PJ area? regular turnout? i'm not sure if i'm coming back soon, but i'd like to know anyway. And the trading scene, do you guys just buy cards online instead of trading them (like we do in Melbourne) ?

has anyone playtested with Sayge yet?
when you have 60 good cards in your deck, losing even 1-2 of them is crappy. |

the Australian realm champs 1st prize is a trip to any UDE event. ANY being the keyword, i know the entire Melbourne crew is going to be cut-throat like hell to try to win a trip to DMF New York City .

Laurent Pagorek wins Manuel Alvisi 2-0. Looks like Kil'zin rush can't put the traitor Mage down.

haha , it seems Sayge is the reason Kil'zin won.
sucks that the DMF was won because the judges ruled that Martin has "marked" sleeves and gave him a match loss - without letting him resleeve. WTF? |

i already saw the box for Drums . it's longer and slimmer. Instead of 12x2 packs methinks it's 8x3 packs , makes it nicer to look at too.

all the heroes got spoilt. There's only 1 talent per class, ie Both A and H druid are Feral spec. it's better for sealed and drafting since you dont need to pass something you cant use if you're locked into a faction.
Also, no more Aldor/Scryer. btw Saruman85, did you go to Worlds? |

tentris, it's a 30 card deck. usually you put 6-7 quests that draw cards, any cantrips you can find, a lot of allies in a nice curve, midrange focused(3-6 drops) and play any removal you can find. Horde Hunter is a good choice for Sealed DOW since the flip and they have 3 removal abilities(Snipe, Topple and Arcane Spikes) if you can get the cards.

BS:
Graccus - prot Warrax - prot Gorebelly - arms Savin Lightguard - ret Fillet - fury Thatia - holy Nathadan - prot Bloody Mary - fury Fallingstar - fury/traitor Lelora - holy Eng: Indalamar - arms Halavar - arms Goldensword - ret Both: Commander Goodchilde - ret/traitor Tremendouson - fury Boarguts - fury Justice Blindburn - ret currently only retnoob and furywar can use both Goggles and Bulwark. @whybuypacks actually i draft weekly, 3 boosters a week is enough for me. Melbourne is lucky, we are one of the 3 places in Oceania that can run 8-man drafts - this is very important, it keeps your skills fresh and teaches you how to value cards for constructed. |

QUOTE(Tentris @ Nov 10 2008, 03:19 PM) you can attack into her. Attacking does not target. Most players use Brok Bloodcaller to hit into her.I saw a cool deck from Thai RQs with Alliance Rogue, he used Feint to nerf Brok so his Myriam can wreak havoc. Added on November 11, 2008, 10:06 am@Obliveron the reason he's so powerful in Block is because all the pets are overpowered for their cost. Thulthun is 2 for a 3/3, Apocanon is a 3 for a 4/4, Dread Infernal is 5 for a 5/5 with AOE. He scoops to Sacrificial Poison though. This post has been edited by yitjuan: Nov 11 2008, 10:06 AM |
