Would like to ask if anyone has experience buying personalised "Build Your Own GIA Diamond Ring" from Diamond & Platinum?

The prices listed here seem lower than in-store for the same cut/carat/colour/clarity.

I did ask the salesperson from the store. She mentioned that I can select on the website and show to them in store, select the band, then make payment. The diamond and band will be put together in Hong Kong, and shipped to Malaysia in 1 month for collection.

Concern is that usually we see the diamond in person, then only purchase. In this case, it's the other way round.
