Hello, asking here first before I go ring shopping, hope anyone here can help answer my questions I have so that I don't look so lost when I actually go shopping, haha.

I'm actually not interested in diamonds. I prefer a different stone (turquoise, aquamarine or any other December birthstones). Is it possible for it be set in 18k white gold band here in Malaysia, where would I find it, and what would the local market rate be like? I also prefer small sized stones.

Edit: Actually my budget is around 5k. If the above is way over the budget, is there any suggestions that can fit in that budget?
