Hmm... For 6k to 8k, 0.4ct is feasible for natural diamond. In fact, you can get much higher carat weight if you opt for lab-grown diamond. I will try to find some options later.

The hearts maybe very very little bit not as good as the one above, but comparing until like this is actually not to practical. More like mind clean thing. The diamond sparkle video does show that the E VS1 has a cleaner look too, hence maybe that is one plus point over this.

Usually I will help to do the ring setting is customer buy from WhiteFlash because alot jeweler refuse to set other jeweler's diamonds. That is also provided you are in KL/PJ area. My price for 0.4ct starts from 1600, for 1ct may be slightly higher.

The diamond is graded in Jan 2020, around MCO period. That can be one of the possible reasons why this diamond is still around. Wedding related business was slow back then.

The diamond offered by diamond and platinum has great proportions. Do note that this diamond has faint fluorescence, but it is not a deal breaker. The price is fair enough for a brick-and-mortar and if it is under their Estrella brand, it is even better as it should have a better cut quality compared to generic GIA diamonds.

7410 seems like a decent price for brick-and-mortar.

LoveMarque - I prefer the one with IIDGR cert over the IGI cert. The former cert has hearts and arrows image. You are paying extra for the branding and the marketing. I would consider though, if I want some branding. Love & Co settings look great.

Lazare - this brand is quite famous I believe. In the US, some may also heard of it. They are well-cut diamonds. Nett at 8300 for I VS2 again, is overpriced, unless you want the branding. They used to quote me 12 to 13k for 0.4 F VS2 I think. I can probably do that in almost half if I remove the branding - GIA + custom ring. Still, if you priority is branding, do consider. They should be clearing stock to make way for their new brand Brilliant C, which I believe is graded by AGS and it is their in-house brand.

Wah Chan usually offers best bang for your buck diamond prices. If you like the stone, and you feel that their design is dated, you can see if they custom for you.

Recent Estrella by forumers here show that the stones have decent proportions. But 10k for that specs is still expensive IMO.

I colour is still consider near colourless. It may be hard to see the differences. You may notice the differences under certain lighting environment, but in normal view, it is hard to see.

Based on what you said, it seems that you are aiming for branding. If that is the case, Forevermark may be the better option. At least I see them as a more internationally recognized brand. Forevermark black label is their top of the line as far as I know.

Forevermark in malaysia is distributed by Degem. Diamond and Platinum belongs to the same Degem group, so they carry that brand as well. Plus point of getting Forevermark is the ring designs, which is only eligible for Forevermark stones, and they seem beautiful.
