Hi,
May I know what's the difference between Brian Gavin Signature and Black by Brian Gavin?

Any comment on this CAGS-104104763010?

Thx.

The difference is actually subtle. What I understand is that Black by Brian Gavin will have a more intense brightness, but as far as super ideal is concerned, they are already very bright diamonds with great idealscope.

For this diamond, I am guessing the crown angle is too shallow to be categorized as a Black. It may lack a little bit of fire compare to some steeper dimonds. I would personally prefer something at least 34.3. Nonetheless, this diamond is already one of the best money an buy compare to the vast market of virtual inventory.

Thanks for the info. May I know how often do whiteflash and Brian Gavin update their inventory with new stocks? Currently the choices are quite limited for 0.4crt

Hmm, I also not sure, but you can always ask their consultants to see what is in their pipeline. In fact, you can even let them know your requirements (4Cs) and they may even source it for you.

You can probably consider diamonds from another super ideal brand known as Crafted by Infinity. It is distributed by High Performance Diamonds so you can actually find this diamond collection in their website. Their diamonds are cut to high precision as well but their main strength lies in the arrangement of the diamond facets to bring more life to the diamond. You can probably land yourself on a diamond such as this :

Wow! Didn't know about this seller earlier. They have attractive purchase benefit! I search the website and the one recommended by you appeared to be comparatively cheapest among the diamond with same spec. (the difference is usd 100-200 which is not little), appreciate it if you can share what factors cause the difference in price.

This is F color. However the price is much higher than the E color with similar spec.

Even though there is a defined range of cut (I.e. Crown, table etc) for AGS diamonds. However, from your earlier sharing, notice that even the cut falls within the range defined, but a slight different angle in the cut may affect the sparkle and fire of the diamond. I do trust your expertise and experience in identifying an ideal diamond, thus your advice is very much help on my purchase.

Also, why are there "price" vs "wire price" ? 🤔 Sorry for too many questions, my first purchase of diamond through online.

This brand is actually selling at a higher price last time due to operation costs (I guess). However, not too long ago, they have decided to cut down on some of the operation costs and with that, the selling price can be lowered and can be more competitive. The F colour has a higher price possibly because the base cost is still based on the older price.

Since we are talking about price, you may also see similar funny pricing in companies like Whiteflash and Brian Gavin Diamonds as well. You see, sometimes the price of the diamond rough can be high and sometimes can be lower. So if they bought the diamond rough the point when the diamond is more expensive, naturally the selling price is higher. Also, as far as I know, Whiteflash may have a few suppliers and the price may vary from to another.

As for performance, I was told that Crafted by Infinity has a very consistent way to make sure the diamonds perform similarly from one to another. I have not seen one yet, but the reviews from actual owners tell me that this diamond brand is a serious contender, especially the fire.

As for price, it is the price if you pay via credit card, which I think you may encounter some problem like some other Malaysians. I am not sure why though. But usually I will just recommend people to transfer via wire transfer, which is actually bank transfer. You can do so via direct telegraphic transfer (TT) via any local banking platform such as M2U. But I always recommend people to transfer via Moneymatch - https://transfer.moneymatch.co/ for their exchange rates are cheaper and no hidden charges for both parties. If you transfer USD 2000, recipient will receive USD 2000, as simple as that. You can use my referral code REF_ACOO to get RM 50 off for first time transfer. Transfer fee is a nett RM 8.

Note... The first time transfer discount seems to have dropped to RM 30.

That's very informative and helpful. Thank you so much.
Beside the the 0.42 E recommended earlier, will there be any other option that you would recommend too? 🤔

Wish to open to more choices =) if you don't mind. Ty

💎 A cut Above Ideal Cut- Chosen and Filtered by Wah Chan GIA Diamond grading gratuate Gemologist

Is this similar to whiteflash 's ACA? 🤔

If this is being sold for approximately RM 6k for stone alone. Will you buy this stone with overkill specs?
