Hi to all the sifus here, have been hunting the rock for a while in local store, need some advice on below GIA loose diamond from WC and Habib:

1. 7241343630 0.37 g si1
2. 6241454718 0.37 g si1
3. 2171917495 0.37 f si1
4. 2197869343 0.36 h vs2
5. 2165708609 0.36 h vs2
6. 7231577093 0.37 g vs2

My doubt here is some of the diamond if viewed from naked eye, it's more brilliant than the other, but when check on the cut proportions with HCA tool, the figure returned is the other way round
Example, by comparing the similar spec, although #3 and #6 has better HCA reading
#1 and #2 seems to be more brilliant than #3 and
#4 and #5 seems to be more brilliant than #6

So HCA isn't really the final factor of determining the cut performance? confused here haha
Also checked out D&P, found their Estrella series (IGI cert), is really shiny and blink, but smaller ct and higher price, they claimed Estrella series is above ideal cut, and I guess pricing is also due to the platinum ring setup.

Thanks for your input koh, was expecting your reply , learnt a lot from this thread. I thought the proportions is translating how well a diamond is cut, isn't it? What do you think about #5, it has H&A in the inscription, from what I read around, it's not necessarily true H&A though.

As for the Estrella that I come across,it's looks really brilliant, not sure because of the 3 prongs setting or because of the store's lighting. I did ask whether they have loose diamond of it but the answer is no, mayb should check out other branch as well.
