Mi3 definitely wont have Samsung quality when it comes to Service Center. Another up for Samsung really.

Samsung got it wrong with A15 really. They didnt expect the battery drain would be so bad. I think Samsung is pretty even with Qualcomm until Qualcomm start to play around with a A9+A15 hybrid. Samsung again opt stick with ARM with Mali instead of licencing PowerVR SGX parts, like they did with S1, which brought their downfall.

I think it is a hit and miss affair with Samsung SC. I went to their SC (nearby KIA Auto Mall) several time for product warranty purpose.
Sometimes need to scold them upside down to claim warranty....
sometimes they very fast respond in ur product warranty claim (can personally call you few times to discuss about the problem after you left the phone at their SC)
They can improve a lot with consistency wise though.

I wish to grab from Xiaomi directly. But dont have credit or debit card.

Seriously i'm a IOS fans , in this few years just using iPhone , but Moto G is first that poison me , after that bought for mum.
Now Mi3 make me poison again.    But so sad tomorrow 12pm still at school. :'(

Exynos was good during the first batch of SGS2 and Note 1

soon after they became complacent with SGS3 and Note 2, with the notorios faulty eMMC

eventually they dropped it in their latest batch of flagships after realizing they cannot compete in the market if they continue with the Exynos

if want to buy, better buy SGS5 (for the ip58 and revamped GUI) or Note 3 (for the S-pen) which are based on Snap801/800, at least there is something to leverage against other makers

my next phone won't be on Samsung anymore, feel sien already, they are heading back to the old Nokia attitudes

moto g is a good choice    buy one for urself,its really cheap and good or u can get mi3   android nowadays are improved alot compare to iphone 4 era

btw noob question,

my work place has an app that runs on android and ios only, can i assume that if i buy the Mi3, i cannot install the app on MIUI?

because iPhones screen too small? hehe..

The price really change my mind. 

My fav brand now..

1. Apple iPhone - loves iOS stability - but hates the screen size. My preferred size 4.7"
2. Xiaomi - MIUI - the best UI for android - clean n simple
3. Google - Stock ROM - Clean without bloat wares.. too bad price too expensive
4. HTC - Nice design
5. SONY - the features is too hard to reject

kind of agree with you when moto g launch...i even let go my note3 for my wife just to get this moto g...then i told my self don buy phone over 1k also... but then mi3 again change my mind..  

and deep in my heart i still know i still left mipad,redmi note and nexus 5 yet to complete.....

In Penang, the service center is handled by SEMS sdn bhd, which handles the phones for Huawei and Sony as well. From my experience, i bought a low end sony phone, is truly a nightmare. Phone had display issue, the backlight was dead. From 1 week old phone turned like 1 year old phone after they "rape" the phone. Scratched everywhere including the screen.  Got back the phone 3 weeks later stating software issue they just restore the phone. Duno why they open the phone for in the 1st place. Worst was, after send to repair the 1st time the issue wasn't solved. Problem came back within a week. After send the 2nd time only they say is PCB problem. So much for incompetency.

Sold it off not long and get the HTC oneX. Damn, 1st month use LCD kong also. Same thing, nightmare with SiS. Took them 1month to replace a new one.

Anyhow i'll still try my luck with the Mi3, hoping the hardware will be more reliable 

Nexus 5 price during launch is scary oh.. wanted to get it but .. then look at moto x.. not available in malaysia during that time.. then heard about how good xiaomi from IMOS boss in Taiwan. So mah give it a try lo.. loves it so much then.. hehe..
n now they said another taiwan brand also good.. some more better than xiaomi in specs but cheaper.. haha

I'm fully anti samseng. 
Another reason give up Apple cuz of the price really can simply killed one Form 5 student, parent also didn't cover me even.
So my mind was changed when realise Mi3 , I think why should buy about 2k phone anymore? That's waste. Even use 2years , that phone cost it with 1.xk/year. Now phone with high spec and some more cheap , while that if after buy it , not happy then changed after 1 year lorh. It not very exp too. Same way , 2k+ phone also can let you use 1.5years only what. 

if 14months still good.. my worst experience with samsung phone is Galaxy S. All i did was upgrade the SW via OTA. And it keep rebooting. I send it back to SC, they told me warranty over by 1 week. No claim eligible and the cost of repairing is RM550. I asked what happened, they told me logic board spoilt.. i said i did nothing but to upgrade only via OTA and this happens.. They keep telling me nothing can be done..

then i google and finds out the same issue happen around the globe, problem with logic board after 1 year of use, some earlier. I brought this up to Samsung HQ and they apologise, they offer me to replace the board at RM350 instead of RM550..

And thats the last i ever use a samsung..

I will skip today. Will buy when next batch come or just get an AP set
