Hi I'm planning to get myself a rig for the latest games in these few weeks time.

Budget: 3.5-4.5k
Purpose: Gaming/Internet browsing/Downloading/Video editing/rendering
Re-usable parts: None
Needs: 23 or 27 inch IPS monitor, built in wifi or wireless adapter or homeplug, SSD

And I plan to get everything from Viewnet.

Thanks for all the help.

Around the 1500 range,AMD is the only option.Either drop down to GTX770,or top up 350 ringgit and get GTX780. nod.gif
You've had bad experiences with AMD's GPUs before huh?

Do you do video editing and rendering a lot? What softwares do you use?

Yeah AMD really disappointed me the last time.. A lot of issues with it.

Usually Adobe stuffs like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects.

AMD is pretty okay now really.

But if you want nVidia get the Gainward GTX770 Phantom from lingloong at RM1185 then. Unless you're willing to add another extra RM500-800 to your budget for a 780/780Ti.

Thanks I'll consider it. Big difference between GTX770 and GTX780?

Definitely. And AMD R9 290 is faster than both.  brows.gif

So R9 290 is the best? Ok I'll consider it too. Just didnt have any good experience with AMD before actually haha
