550W should be enough seeing that his other components isn't power hungry.
Whoa dude WC is gonna be expensive man. Basic kit is RM900-1000. Add in GPU and other stuff you're looking at 2k. Read this before you consider.
https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=68564004

Plus OCing means you'll have to downgrade your GPU too. Unless you got extra budget.
Depends on games. 1440p 16xMSAA Ultra on watchdogs is gonna kill your card. Haha. But for most games 60fps is achievable.

i know, i wont be wc right now..like i said maybe around december or early next year

- You won't get any performance improvement in gaming with performance RAM. Corsair 8GB Value RAM would be good enough.
- That PSU is kind of expensive. Cheaper alternatives such as Seasonic M12II 620w is just good enough.
- Dell P2312H is also a good alternative with cheaper price.

Bro, 290 TriX has rattling issues. Just so you know. Also, the case is wasted, you could have gotten a smaller one like the Source 530 which is cheaper and neater. Unless you're sure of dropping 1.5-2k on WC then okay fine you need the space.

Morever, the 2400Mhz RAM is often CL11, which is isn't any different from that if cheaper options like the Kingston HyperX Fury 1600Mhz.

And agreed, you don't need that PSU. Even a S12-II or M12-II would've sufficed.

Did they ambush PM you the whole suggestion?
*
owh shiii..guess ill have to contact them to change to diff 290, which is recmmended? about the casing, thats my own preference since i do planning to do much more to this rig..

they didnt ambush me, i just pmed few reputable seller here and picked the best deal

Don't worry just asking. wink.gif

Hmmm, you can get ASUS ones, but their cooling solutions aren't that great seeing that they took a nVidia based cooler and slapped it on. IIANM. You can try a Powercolor 290 PCS+ or Gigabyte GV-R929OC-4GD R9 290 OC Windforce.

problem is, seller only have asus n sapphire card lel..between those 2 rclxub.gif

You can always buy the GPU from somewhere else haha.

If its the ASUS DCII (R9290-DC2OC-4GD5) version it should be fine.

fuh, yes thats the one that im thinking to change..guess it'll work out somehow.. sweat.gif
