1 on 1 exchange is usually instantaneous if they test it there and then and see the problem. But if not it will take from a few days up to weeks.

Yeah AMD really disappointed me the last time.. A lot of issues with it.

Usually Adobe stuffs like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects.
*
AMD is pretty okay now really.

But if you want nVidia get the Gainward GTX770 Phantom from lingloong at RM1185 then. Unless you're willing to add another extra RM500-800 to your budget for a 780/780Ti.

QUOTE(zhen^wei @ Jun 19 2014, 10:54 PM)
when u choosing the I7 or Xeon E3, try to quote in a 3rd party cooler as well.
temperature can go up to 90-100C (depends chips) in load.
*
While I do agree that third party coolers, even value oriented ones like the CM Hyper 212 would bring benefits, I'm not so sure for the Xeon E3. Slap on a nice TIM, and the stock cooler would suffice and load temps won't cross 65℃ for heavy usage. Normal use would be even lower.

But again, no harm spending an extra hundred or two I guess.

omfgbanana how about this.

CPU:Intel Core i5-4590 RM649
Mobo: Asrock H97 Killer RM449
GPU: Gainward GTX770 Phantom RM1180
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 1600Mhz CL9 8GB RM259
HDD:WD Caviar Blue 1TB RM189
PSU:Seasonic M12II 80+ Bronze 620W RM359
Casing: NZXT Source 530 RM320
Heatsink: Cooler Master TCP 612 CPU Cooler RM189
Monitor:LG 23EA63V 23' RM579

Total: Rm4173

Prices are from Viewnet/Lingloong.

You can actually stick with the stock intel cooler as well. These chips don't put out as much heat as their K series brethren.

As for water cooling, only get it if you're overclocking. If your budget can increase to 4.5k plus then maybe can add a K series chip plus a nice AIO.

Custom WC is a whole different story all together and will take 1-2k easily.

QUOTE(Zgames @ Jun 23 2014, 05:43 PM)
If not into OC'ing I'd recommend getting a Xeon. Cheaper and the same as an i7-4770. If not into OC'ing just go for a simple aircooling setup. Maybe pick up a LED Bling Bling Aftermarket Heatsink that cost around RM 150+

Badass casing is so many in the market right now. One of em is NZXT 530. Ain't that right Sentinel92 brows.gif
*
Yeap. But 530 has two models mang. Source and phantom. hahaha. Better be distinct next time. tongue.gif

QUOTE(EfanOne @ Jun 23 2014, 06:02 PM)
Thanks for the reply Zgames!

I've not researched the Xeon and have no idea how it compares to the i7, but what if i want to OC in the future? Would a Xeon be a hindrance to that?

NZXT 530..is it this one?
http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/134-phantom-530.html

That does look badass  rclxms.gif

...but then after awhile though I thought it looked familiar...turns out a friend of mine has the exact same one!

Please recommend me another one so I can be unique and special  flex.gif (against my friend at least)
*
Xeon cannot be OC-ed. But performance wise at stock speeds is basically the same as the 4770K. Its basically a non OC and Graphicsless 4770K. smile.gif

Bro there is two 530's btw. Phantom 530 and Source 530. Both at very different price points. At the cheaper Source 530 range you can have a look at the Phanteks Enthoo Pro as well.
