hi guys, just thought of sharing a trophy hunting base which i modified a bit based on goodguy's x-core original design. this base has been tested at a range of 1900-2100 for a few seasons and it returns me 20+ wins every season.

but do note that i have done so with maxed walls and defenses.

i know there is an extra mortar now. maybe u guys could try could try readjusting the mortars so that it will sit in a "square shaped" placement.

Currently at TH8, all my defenses maxed except few walls need to upgrade. Should i proceed to upgrade my TH, or maxed all my research first?

You shold ensure that your troops are strong enough before you go to the next TH because once you go to TH9, you will be attacking mostly TH8 and TH9, it's very hard to break matured bases with weak troops. For me, I am still holding back my TH10 upgrade although I am 1 Archer Tower to max defenses, I will still hold back until I maxed all my DE troops. Gonna suffer a lot if I don't have strong troops for offense

Actually nothing he can do about it. Haha especially with so many spells and heroes, but generally th8 bases cannot withstand higher th attacks
