I double checked with the PBCS in regard to eligibility of 6% rebate for online transactions. Here's their reply.

"Please be informed that you will enjoy the 6% rebate if it is a eCommerce transaction including bill payment/insurance (exclude transaction via www.pbebank.com).

Should you have further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Representatives at 03 2176 8000 (24 hours) for assistance."

Kinda contradicting against the one you'd got from the CS previously.

What the others are discussing is the RM388 online application promo whereby one need to accumulate rm1k within 2 months to enjoy rm150 cashback.

On a side note, BT from AEON to PBB need 9 working days starting from form submission via email to cheque clearance.

New card activated in 4 Jun.

Haven't received statement till today. Called up CS, was told that my statement date is 28 JUL.
That's more than 2 months grace period.

Down side is, using the card any further this month, gets me nothing, until the bill drops on 28JUL.

You can check the status via the hotline IVR.
If it's still under review, the IVR will say 'In Progress'.
If approved, it'll say 'Approved'.
