^I've never seen a high end guitar with those clip on tuners
 Either he's playing alternate tunings or that PRS is a lemon AFAIK guitars with >3k prices should be worry free |

For 7 strings, get the Korean schecters or LTD.. I will suggest:
  They wont growl as much the schecs, and they about same price around used RG7 Prestiges |
