QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Oct 21 2015, 05:58 PM) I'm a little divided about digital multifx processors like Line 6 even though its mighty tempting. Its definitely flexible and convenient to have an entire rig compressed into a pedalboard and at your beck and call, but my main gripe is continuity. These things are very much like PCs in the sense that they cost a bomb upon release, but 2-3 years down the road there's gonna be some super duper new upgrade that's gonna make the old one obsolete. And here u r stuck with the old one that's now devalued to a fraction of its original and nobody wants it anymore. My old Line 6 Flextone 3 was a case in point. Perhaps multi effects is not so problematic, just amplification that's the problem? I dunno. But the experience has prompted me to reevaluate my hardware acquisition quite considerably. oh mai.!!! gotta youtube this vs line6 product, hope match my preference.Speaking of multifx, anybody here got their hands on this lil fellow yet? Would love to hear your comments. ![]() looks tempting tho.~~~~~~~~ This post has been edited by ecitenoid: Oct 25 2015, 11:36 AM |

Hi guys,
just need a simple clarification from fellow lowyat guitarist. let say i have a Tube amp. all i need is its power amp. then i have my POD HD slot in to RETURN FX LOOP so i can use my onboard preamp. does my sound still have the 'tube' sound from the amp? or i already bypass it? just wondering. |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Dec 8 2015, 05:50 PM) Chaps, want to ask a question. Has anyone here ever gone thru the rigmarole of recording a music video outdoors, performing in synch with the music? If so, what sort of a setup did u use to stay in synch with the reference music? Was recording my band's mv last month and despiteĀ the (what I had thought was) really loud portable USB speakers we hooked up, it still wasn't enough to keep entirely audible. We ended up having to play to the drums which were synched to the metronome. Turned out so so, but was wondering if there was a better solution. Portable generator? Car stereo? Decepticon's Soundwave? just share my experienced. back in 2013, me and my friend's band (im just a last minute sessionist ) recorded a MV with using Car stereo. Open 4 doors, max the volume, BUT, still tough. same as per you mentioned. As i remembered, we use 3 cameras.might need a PA system tho.. QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Dec 29 2015, 07:20 PM) [/spoiler] actually that place like an abandoned car park, but at the top, got futsal centre. hence during this video shoot, the futsal centre is closed on that day. so no permission needed.Sempoi ni, did u guys need any authorization or permission or anything to shoot on that rooftop? The location is car accessible, convenient. Just pop the trunk and crank up. conclusion, we shoot in front of futsal centre. |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Jan 12 2016, 07:12 PM) I'm afraid not, would love to A/B these 2. However, given the opportunity, I would probably end up with the 20w MH rather than the MkIII. One weighs 10kg, the other is 16kg - tak larat nak usung. That and the fact that 20 watts of tube power is more than enough for most venues I'm playing these days. Still cant beat a 5150 at full blast well talking bout MH, look what i have here. Just get it yesterday. first GAS in 2016. |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Jan 14 2016, 11:48 AM) Hahahahahang biar betui?! Baru dok kata dah angkat dah terus! Terbaek!!!Ā haha, aku dah lama duk usha MH ni, la ni baru dapat beli.Where'd u pick this up and what's the damage like? Disabled any neighbors with it yet? ordered from Deadeyes Guitar. amp ni able to switch from 20W to 5W and 1W. so i just plug my headphone and play..... #ehemmm last night got a chance to crank up in jamming studio with Randall 4x12. now in love, meanwhile, the tube's light indicator very helping and useful. aku level valveking dah cukup. kau level 6505 dah boleh pegi test. QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Jan 14 2016, 07:57 PM) Haiyooo ini racun kawww mia ni yeap, i get that grrr when turn on the gain boost. quite high gain when turn to 7 above. for me that more on modern metalcore music, 6 enough already.Valveking amacam, ada grrrr? Can it overpower the other guitar in the studio? Teringin tu mmg teringin, tapi kesian AMT Stonehead, nanti tak termain lak hahahaha...if there's a buyer I might consider la though...hurmm....maybe I should be more realistic and start a collection of lunchbox amp heads rather than dreaming of scoring some 120W monster to me im impressed this valveking ii. really enjoy the clean as well. but i feel like 20W not enough 'loud'. afraid to crank full volume, coz im new to tube amp, masih study and research lagi. lucky my pod HD can control the volume using 4 cable method. |

QUOTE(gapnap @ Jan 26 2016, 02:11 PM) The most interesting thing that happened in NAMM, demmm. 56k cash. Was seeing a guy paying cash for a Ritter guitar (betcha never heard of them) in front of my eyes. He paid $56,000 USD. Its like seeing +3kk! on 10x steroids high. And they sold every single pcs on display in less than 1 hour. |

QUOTE(noob4life @ Feb 4 2016, 08:59 PM) I had buzzing issue on low E string when I bought my Epiphone LP 60s Tribute Plus just last 2 weeks. Might consider Planet Wave strap.Adjusted the truss rod to push the neck outwards (From player position) to give it more space, and also noticed that I was strumming too hard on the strings, as I am a newbie electric guitarist coming from an acoustic background. Now I got a new problem, guitar is freaking heavy lol. I only noticed it after 30+ minutes of playing, hurts my shoulders. Anyone has any good guitar strap recommendation ? The shop that I bought the guitar from had only the cheap 20 ringgit strap that did very little to distribute the weight. |

QUOTE(pleasuresaurus @ Apr 26 2016, 11:07 AM) This is exactly where I was about 4 years ago, I had also gravitated along the same product line - EHX .22 to a EHX .44, then to a Traynor Darkhorse Floor Pedal (notsure if they make them anymore). Then I found me the AMT Stonehead and the rest was history haha. thanks for sharing mate.!now i looking forward to try the ISP stealth. |

guys, need your few opinion here in few things.
1. Zoom MS50G VS KORG Pandora Stomp 2. AMT SS-20 VS Hughes & Kettner Tubeman ii before this, i own MS50G and SS-20, i love the modulation on MS50G but i found hard to change preset while on stage. about SS-20, i love tube sound. but found lack on EQ on it. both already sold due change to multifx. now multifx also sold, and need to build my rig from scratch back again. *sigh* appreciate your input. source : CK Year End Sale. |

QUOTE(quarantined @ Nov 30 2017, 05:56 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « in the end money talks cheaper labor = huge profit = premium?? and ibanez has the backing of stevo n joe n some major shredders la, kiesel cheaper but how else to compete otoh they stop popular stuff like the SZ and release weird things like the Talman Prestige? whos going to buy those?? ms50g can switch whole board at once, can pandora stomp do that? but term of sound quality, i dont know. the cons on the ms50g i had, sometime i stomp the switch will also click the button on the pedal (there is button around the switch) . instead plan to on/off turns tu change next chain. damn. thats why i try looking at pandora. just planning for modulation/delay/reverb purpose only. |

QUOTE(quarantined @ Dec 2 2017, 10:35 PM) Kiesel sexy?? damn, nice suggestion.!Why not try the Zoom G3n then? Should have give you much more control. I had the ms50g and vox stomplab (never tried pandora) and the Zoom was the winner for me (vox isnt bad thou). G3N looks suite what i need for now. i can set lots of modulation/delay/rvrb there. long time not update on zoom product. LoL. will look into it for now. thanks again bro. btw, about preamp.. anybody have any review on Mooer micro preamp. tempting to get either 001 - Diezel Hagen / 005 - EVH 5150. so far youtube them, sound awesome. price also around RM450 (new / not year end sale price) |
