seryoung when u move ur finger to touch ur glider does he follow ur finger?
*
its a she smile.gif urm i tried a few times to pat her but she always moves away. unless there is something to lick, she'll stay away from my finger. i guess it takes time for gliders to get used to your hand. what i do is i somehow make moochi climb upside down my hand to eat mealworm or lick applesauce/jam off my finger..let her be comfortable la. once in a while try to pat her. bribing with food seems to be the key biggrin.gif

i also plan to trim my gliders nails..but she's not tame yet. i've read somewhere that attaching sandpaper to the exercise wheel will do the trick, plus, my glider runs alot.

Hey ppl, just dropping my 2cents. 1st of, this forum is open to everyone. 2nd, i think its better to constructively criticise rather than openly flame someone.

referring to the current situation, i think sangetrap and jonyeap might've been way to harsh, but they have some truths. to rear ANY pet, not only SGs and hedgies, would mean thorough research, in-depth detail concerning the pets diet, housing, caresheet etc on the owner's part. that is what we call responsible pet owner.

830808, yes, SGs/Hedgies are fairly expensive compared to other pets, they're called exotic for a good reason. crazymouse once mentioned that SGs in msia are imported from indonesia, what about license? import fee? tax? so RM250-300 sounds like a good deal already, considering the fact you don't need to go through all the legal hassle.

quote jonyeap, work up a saving plan, or get a part-time job if you still insist on getting one, because having a SG will mean extra responsibility on your part. he's right in saying that if you can't afford to purchase it, probably you can't afford to keep it.

QUOTE(830808 @ Nov 28 2006, 01:53 PM)
the thread is oli for the ppl to can give me.. if you dun have or maybe you bought a expensive SG... it is not related to me..

how you know i am not do research in SG ?? answer me?? r u with me?? is it we cant get knowledge from here... or we must good enough knowledge then oli can post the thread...

Y use student is oli can be in cinema??? how rude the word u type... i don tin u r a good pets lover oso... you just feel the person who really know this then oli can join.... thank.... mad.gif
*
i think the reason why sangetrap and jonyeap flame you is coz they are also SG lovers, they worry about SGs falling into the wrong hands, won't that be a sad thing? that is also why they ask you to do your research if you have not. if you have already, good for you.

Also, the forum is for EVERYONE, not just you alone. bear in mind that we have freedom of speech. take a chill pill and try to take criticism objectively/positively. same goes to anyone who still has flames on their heads lol. Cheers! icon_rolleyes.gif

btw 830808, i took some time trying to understand what u typed rclxub.gif lol

seryoung,

i learned something new from your post. Do you have a license for your glider? As far as I know, most petshop does not sell SG with license.

Just like to ask everyone with SGs if they have license for their SGs? or by default, all SGs comes with license through the petshop?
*
oh, i got mine from a breeder. if you purchase from petshop, they should provide you with license.

seryoung,

You got your SG from breeder? which means do not have license?

I do not think have such thing as license for SGs.
*

You only need license for SG if you're starting a breeding project. For pet, I don't think you need. Correct me if I'm wrong.
*
aha, that brings up another question, do any breeders here have licence? lol tongue.gif

and remember..not all cat foods are recommended. get dry cat food low on fat/cholesterol. mealies can be fattening, but nutritious. gut-feed the mealies and feed 5-7 depending on ur glider's appetite. tip: they make good treats too smile.gif

hmmm...my 2cents, IMHO, its good that we clarify everything now, we don't want to have scammers in our forums either. so lets keep this conversation clean, open minded and un-bias ok? too early to side anyone for now.

i think its really strange that at first that sangetrap denied knowing sangkancil then later claimed that he instructed him to deposit money.

here's why:

sangkancil claimed that sangetrap scammed him RM100, after he claimed he deposited the money into his account, later

sangterap said: Don't know what that idiot talking about.

sangkancil replied: Dun pretend la,i pmed u,u instructed me to bank in some deposit money to you as for reserving the hoglets..

sangterap said: The only lesson that can be learned here is not simply pay people lar...

I instructed you to deposit money...how interesting...and you stupidly followed the instruction.

so who's telling the truth? for now, we only have CLAIMS and only WORDS. sangetrap is right in saying that noone should simply pay/deposit money to anyone, its really dangerous and if you're too
careless, you get scammed. but why sangetrap denied the claims of sangkancil but later admitted himself that he instructed sangkancil to deposit the money? and IF sangkancil's claims are true...i believe sangetrap has some explanation to do.

for now, i leave it for sangetrap and sangkancil to support their claims with some evidence if possible.
