But then you are missing out on those people who are not interested in owning these sets but buying them in large quantity and selling it for more price. Now if they didn't do this.. other people who are interested in getting it for 499 directly from vmall STILL get the shipping to thr place right? SO the fuel and effort ur talking about is the risk these people who buy 'extra set to resell it for profit'.. are taking. So I don't see the point here. I believe people should not misuse this online web sale good price sales. Instead Xiaomi or huawei should have a better selling system but then they don't want to invest more in order for consumer to get fair offers. My point here is that it's not wrong to sell for 550RM or 600RM + for 499RM set but then it's not wrong even to negotiate to ask for them to let go at 499RM or plus some more RM into it.
Well, this is human nature, even if the current "batch" of people stop doing this, someone else would come in to "replace" them, I still think RM550 is a OK price for the time and effort spent on the party selling it. Like I said, you MAY try your luck at getting it for RM499. Even if there's no scalpers, for the price and specs, GENUINE BUYERS would still overwhelm the demand. We don't even know how many sets are up for offer unlike XiaoMi.

Check samsung malaysia fb page for consumer rage on how the samsung Malaysia stafff misuse cheap note 3 neo sales.
I think it all comes to basic ethics in the end.
It does come with basic ethics, unfortunately, there's a chinese saying that goes "1 single type of rice grains can raise a hundred different types of personalities", there's just, no stopping new scalpers from emerging.

I was one of them caught in the frenzy. Was thinking of grabbing it for my Mum to replace her Note 2 so that the Note 2 can be passed to another relative in the family.
