did u know in pr rating it's doubled...
2.4ghz equivalent to 4600+ - 4800+
u oced more than u thought... check with sisoft sandra if u got..
ram timming maybe got conflict..
Thanks First
Dude 8tvt got guideline for me the X2 should able to oc till wat level ?

Currently my x3800+ x2 is running @ 2400 with lose Ram timing, already pass 2hr Prime test (surely will aim for 8hr + Prime Stable) , i wish i can find higher Clock Speed, But temp for my 3800+ X2 is damn high

( 38 idle / 62 Full Load )

while my previous Venice 2250Mhz is just (31 idle / 38 Full load ).

RAM Speed depends on CPU speed and also how MOBO handle both in synchronous to each other ...
Make it simple , if one of them is slow and one is fast , there is much bottleneck and conflict to happen .
Anyway since X2 cant OC high , the bus speed will be lower and hence the Speed of overall Component on the MoBo .
Anyway , X2 is Better processor than your Previous .
Thanks
But it take much much more time to load windows XP .....
Old venice run at 2250Mhz (250*9)
New 3800+ currently run 2400Mhz (240*10)
Is it need to format windows ?

Yes.
Why? Because K8 memory controller is integrated in the processor. Different processor behaves differently, especially in the case of Venice vs Manchester.
Thanks Brotehr Soulfly

Answered my Question Clear, million thanks
Seen like i have to spend time to find the max clock for my new x3800+
