When the season peaks, we may have as much as 4 games in 10 days. I remember Man City having that. So, we need Mandzukic. He's proven in Bundesliga for 3-4 seasons.

Having Suarez + Sturridge + Mandzukic rotating for UCL, EPL and important cup matches will keep our players fresh all the time. Lambert can be a backup plan B in case of any mishaps. Besides, if Sturridge, Lambert and Suarez progress in WC, they may not be as fresh as last season. Although Mandzukic in WC, having 4 players to rotate will be good.

Besides, Mandzukic can come cheap around 15mil. Saw Mancity last season with 4 top strikers rotate in out. I believe we need such quality.
