QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jun 15 2014, 08:58 PM) Till now I still dont get how Andrea did it. Totally S-Style Curve. I tried a thousand times with the ball and couldnt get this kind of curve. Thousand times? Maybe he practiced a hundred thousand times. That is why my friend, he is Pirlo, and we are just ordinary people admiring them.

Pirlo said he learnt from this Juninho Pernambucano. The Juninho (Paulista) who played for Boro wasn't really famous for his freekicks. He's more known for his dribbling skills.

QUOTE(prash @ Jun 19 2014, 03:44 PM) i dunno why suarez handball is an issue. i honestly believe he did the right thing. his actions won the match for his country. diego maradona has the hand of god and nobody talks shit about him. Suarez was at least caught in the act and sent off. Ghana missed the penatly and couldnt take advangate of playing against 10 men. Uruguay deserved the win. What do you mean nobody talk shit about Maradona. Try saying the Hand of God is absolutely acceptable to any English who watches football.

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jun 23 2014, 02:56 PM) WC and league a lot of time never the same wave length. Some players shine in WC matches, but not in league (after being signed by big club after seeing the magnificent performance during WC). Some players shine in league, but so so in WC. Younger players always shine in the WC. This is their biggest platform, as sometimes they do not get to start with their club. Eg. The Campbell dude from Costa Rica. Klose another good example. Don't think he was as big of a BEAST for his club. Gerrard too.
