didnt got help from SAF either, wa played out of position. he was a real attacking force when with porto(you could see the same drive from midfield sometimes when playing for us)...such a pity, put on weight and was never the same again.

actually we already have kagawa and mata so this would be consider 'surplus' purchase

hope kagawa can exhibit his talent more next season. sometimes feel like other Utd players dun really rate him, seldom give him the ball in tight positions. kinda like they dont think he can make something happen out of nothing.

i've noticed all the failed midfielders mentioned above, none had experience playing in england, the successful ones were from another english team or from united ranks (keane, carrick, scholes, ince, etc). The main problem is that the players from abroad really cannot adapt to the bpl that fast, and worse still if they dun have the mental strength to face critism (luckily de gea can tahan abuse ), so if we want ready made midfielders, gotta look within bpl, IMO

shouldnt be a problem. quite obvious tat evra is coming towards the end part of his career (hope he has a long way to go) and am sure Shaw could see himself establishing the LB berth,. Only one should be worried in this deal would have to be buttner...
