geng nak tanya kenapa kete gen2 aku bila mati enjin slalu keluar asap sejak minggu lepas, tapi asap tu tak banyak la, sikit je tapi mcm ade bau hangit sikit. temp ok je, gasket dkt top cover baru tukar and dah cuci sikit. fyi baru letak grounding copper cable kt kete

ada lagi satu masalah yg rare sikit iaitu kete aku tkleh pakai ron97, kalau pakai je kete akan jadi gegar mcm gila.

just wondering what are the major issues with Gen 2 CPS manual? I am planning to get one for around 20k.

so far the problems I read are the cps sensor issues, what about others such as power windows etc?

major problem, cant resist to open the CPS all the time

CPS basically a good engine. power windows? this 1, even perodua have this kind of problem.. 1 year old myvi pun ada..
so depends on how u use it leh

currently I have a myvi but passing it to my sibling and I understand the window problem but at least the window still can wind down hahaha

i think major parts were quite reliable, just some minor issue some might faced like wet carpet after raining (gen2, persona, neo). the plastic sheet inside door panel wasn't tightly fit after some years, just simple diy reseal back will do.

hi all, in dire need of some expert advise on whether should i overhaul my gen2 engine or not since the car is already 10 years old and is consuming petrol very heavily at 13.7litres/100km (according to the fuel meter indicator). have repaired/changed lots of parts and have lost lots of pennies. have done ecu/tcu tuning, changed the top engine gasket, petrol filter, installed grounding cables, decarbonisation, nano energizer etc etc. the thing that i've yet to replace is the o2 sensor and crank sensor. how much is the overhaul cost and does it guarantee lower fuel consumption? ataupun does problem ni ada kena mengena dengan exhaust?

ok one last question. since my car dah 10 years old, what are the parts that should be changed and dah worn out? i'm ready to dump 2k to replace/repair what is needed. thanks in advance peeps.

is your engine consuming engine oil? overhaul is usually for oil-consuming engine, not for fc reduction purpose.
how's your driving condition? always stuck on traffic jam?

my car latest fill-up shows it consumed 29.51litre of petrol for 220.9km, seems very high, but...but... i took 12 hours 17 mins to achieve this distance (super heavy traffic jam), thus high fc is still consider reasonable in my case so i'm not worried about that.

Pump in full tank ron95 then drive until red blink. Let us know how far u go with it..

Things to change maybe your waterpump.. Takut rosak di tengah jalan kalau X pernah tukar sebelum ni.

If u really want to overhaul, go to somebody that have experience with campro..
