I thought solid wood meant it is a whole piece! anyway , solidwood is solidwood , plywood is plywood , blockboard is blockboard ...there are not same material... nobody will use solidwood to laminate because solidwood original already got "woodline"... normally just plywood & blockboard will laminate...

On my way Senior Member 588 posts Joined: Apr 2014 From: klang valley , seremban	i just want to say...all wood material for carcass and door normally the chooise willbe : no.1 solidwood no.2 plywood / blockboard no.3 chipboard & mdf many people say use what material for chipbord or mdf finishing willbe water resistant or waterproof..ya,there right,but only the surface,if the surface fauty? solidwood,solid plywood,blockboard dont will "kembang" you can ask any designer or carpenter which wood material better
