Oh, you mean the same character can run thru all the 3 campaigns and gain different items and gear?
Does Nightfall have 6 core class + 2 Factions classes + 2 NF classes?
Or only 6 core classes + 2 NF classes?
Getting all three games is a bit too pricey, I think. Unless there is a bulk discount Collector Set or something.
If I can only afford 1 campaign, which one do you recommend, guys? Which one is better in terms or storyline? Which one is better in terms of gameplay?
Is there any major difference in combat system and travel system?
Yes! Your Character can take a ship (actually, it's just one or two clicks) and travel to and from the 3 'countries'.
6 standard classes in Prophecies
6 standard classes + Assasin & Ritualist in Factions
6 standard classes + Dervish and Paragon in Nightfalls
If you can only afford 1 campaign.
- Get Prophecies because it's the beginning (not that they link up anyway). Loads of stuff to explore. Get it now before everyone migrates to GWEN or GW2, then there might not be much folks around in Tyria to join you for quests and stuff.
- Get Factions to make money because I believe it's the easiest and fastest to make money. I actually made a lot of money just doing the campaign once, enough money to spend on my Prophecies character's armor upgrade and stuff till I went broke again... hehehe
- Get Nightfalls for Heroes. don't really make a lot of money mainly because I'm spending a lot on my Heroes.

Oh.. did I mention that some of the missions are damn hard...

Storyline, I felt Factions so far has a good storyline though I've not completed Nightfalls yet to compare. Prophecies' ending felt as it there wasn't really an ending...

Dunno lah.. maybe I lost touch as I stopped playing it half way. Gameplay, combat and travelling is the same.
