finally got my s3 today! bought from a mas stewardess who bought in nagoya japan a few months back. 1100, mint condition with a nice case, 1 gb bag, gp 2500 batteries & fuji charger. she had taken less than 200 photos on the cam, like new.

all my manuals are in japanese though! ;|

before meeting up with her i stopped by selgangor photo in pertama, they were willing to give me same deal for 1500 after hard bargaining. the sales guy was pushy, did not want to let me leave the store, was telling me i had to give him a deposit if i left without buying and wanted the same deal when i came back.. which is bullshit of course.. regardless, if anyone is looking, they should give you the same deal, cam, bag, 1gb sd, 4 batteries and charger for 1500.

in the end i chose to save 400 and go 2nd hand. love the camera!

you can get an s3 today for 1200 (no extras) at sel photo in pertma complex, bring cash, bargain hard.

i was offered that as 'last price' - however i ended up buying a lightly used camera with accessories.

that price was camera only. if you go into the shop and straight away ask for that price, i doubt you will get it.. but when they ask 'ok, what is your budget' tell them you cannot spend more than that. they will eventually say ok, cash right?

i've just taken some photos of the moon using zoom, i noticed one red pixel when loaded them up on the computer. i went through some of my other photos and there was the red pixel again.. anyone seen this on other digital cams? way to fix it or have to send to canon?
