Hmm, HAPSENG seems like a decent company to me. Then announced boardroom changes and share price dropped suddenly?

What do you think about SKPETRO currently? Quarterly report just out and looks good to me. Is it on a sustainable uptrend?

Be warned that all everything is unmitigated good news for SKPETRO. Seadrill recently sold a massive chunk of shares, causing its price to be depressed for quite some time. Why did Seadrill sell? It still holds a lot of shares. Is it going to sell more in the near future?

As boon indicated, the price for this stock seems to go up and down as dictated by large institutions.

I always think that people who constantly ask boon for tips are a little silly since HOMERIZ has yet to really take off. It is not too late to buy into it unless you want to avoid being too concentrated in a stock. What the requests for tips really show is that people are really looking for short term tips when boon has indicated that he is perfectly content to buy something and sit and wait for a couple of years or more.

Lots of people say things and attribute them to boon, but they don't necessarily come from boon. I remember HOMERIZ target price in this thread was 1.60. At first started as a joke, then people took it seriously...

No posts in this thread for a while now, so here is a link talking about how Bursa Malaysia is currently the world's longest running bull rally:

I don't understand the symlife case. Its financials don't seem to indicate a record of healthy dividends?

why not? asset:liability ratio are healthy

earnings is there

cashflow? i don't spot any problem there too

mind to share what is on your mind?

Yes, but you specifically mentioned healthy dividends and it in fact doesn't have a consistent record of paying dividends. It doesn't seem to me that it paid any dividends at all in 2012, and the dividend yield in 2013 and 2014 seems to be insignificant.

Interesting development.
Did they transfer the shares to the flying wok!

laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

about time la...
those two...
they hold too many shares in the company....
they need to sell/trasnfer a bit more....
hopefully to some long term investing funds.  smile.gif

So the two directors each transferred 5m shares, and today's trading volume just happens to be 10m?

Bro, it's an off market deal.
Which means it doesn't have any impact on the traded volume.
Furthermore, the transaction was actually done on the 17/9.

Those 2 directors, they are the husband and wife. wink.gif
They each own about 35% shares...

(yeah, not many funds will be comfortable with such shareholding cos it puts their investment at the mercy of the couple)
*
Yes, I know it was an off market deal and it was yesterday. But the volume today is in fact over 10m, when the average volume is something like 500k, which suggests that a large proportion of the shares they transferred seems to have found its way to the market.

Good memory. Stocks like SCICOM, SCIENTX and HOMERIZ make me wonder why I have much more money in FSM than in my own stock trading account. But then maybe boon can remember that not all of my buys are doing well. *cough* SKPETRO *cough*
