Trading slumps happens and would likely happen in the future again.

Sometimes it's not the trader's skill is at fault, it's just that the market conditions is not conclusive to your prefered trading setup.

And no, it is not that your trading is not your type of tea.
It's just the damn market.



It happens and the better traders know when to just lay off.... like taking time to go sailing

if you would recall recently I have been saying a couple of times already it's the goreng season.
And yes, most would have noted the better fundamental stocks, there are more than fairly valued (note this)....
and plays since the start of that bola cup had been centered on goreng.

The plays have more the less shifted.
It's not quite the same (if you know what I mean. )

What had worked like a charm early in the year and last year did not seem to work as smoothly...

So if you realise the market setup is not suitable for your trading setup and you do not have a back-up trading setup, just relax and take a break.

You really do not have to trade all the time.

Remember, in stock trading, think of yourself as the hunter....

Know when to hunt..
and when not to hunt....

else you would end up as a dead itik....

if you know the stock will go up...... then go buy.

but can give example in hevea, tried once on 20th May, turned out can't continue hence exited. So saw the same thing again around 21st july, here i am thinking well won't continue wan kua (though spring onion did mentioned that it is in his 555 book or something setup, ). Turns out quite good

If you would note, yes, the volume from 20 to 22 May was very strong and as you say 'so convincing'....
However, the rate of the stock price increase slowed.....

instead of asking silly questions like fake or real...
your focus should have been on if the stock had peaked for that immediate swing (ie from 19-22 - yes I include 19)?
with hevea displaying a loose trading pattern, for me, I would be definitely be asking that question if the stock movement from 19-22 (or 136-153) had peaked?

as for the current stock movement...
it's gonna be even more tricky...
as the movement has been distorted by 8/8...

if I have to guess...
I probably err by saying this current movement has got legs....
I definitely won't be surprise if the stock can swing to a high of 170 or 175 this week.....
